Ok - Cafe Seine is a club scene and not a pub or restaurant after 10ish or so. Met alot of different people from all ages. Dance floor is way crowded and bars on the first floor are way crowded. Go up to the second level or 3rd level for your drinks or to hang with friends. Had a blast... more

From the outside this place looked pretty average but we were pleasantly suprised when we walked in. With amazing decor and an impressive cocktail list i would definately recommend this place. Fantastic ambience. more

Just come back from a weekend trip to Dublin to watch the rugby. Spent a terrific few hours on a Sunday afternoon. Despite what previous reviewers may have said, I thought this was excellent value. Each main course costs between £6 and £7, depending on the exchange rate. Whilst you have to go to the back of the restaurant for... more

Don't be put off by the reviews saying that Cafe En Seine is expensive, for drinks maybe it is a little, however, this is well justified with the elaborate decor and space it has to offer. Also if you are in Dublin mid-week, you can get a great carvery lunch for around €10 - what more can you ask for... more

Cafe-en-Seine - Not a place for those in the Red, the prices are set to knock you dead. If your short of cash, its not for you; if your loaded and single, it will most definitely do. From Rugger Bugger to Tree Top Hugger, Cafe has something for all. From the trendy young 'bean counter' to the middle aged banker,... more

Visited this bar on a recommendation. I was only in Dublin for the weekend and I Intended to visit a few places with friends but this was so good we just stayed there all night. The atmosphere was very laid back and the Guinness was as good as the food and the service. As a bonus I have to say... more

I'm local and am looking up Dublin for the first time as I have visitors this weekend! I feel I should add my tuppence worth about Cafe en Seine. Yes, it's a beautiful building, lovely architecture, high ceilings, lots of mosaic, statues, drapes etc. Very opulent and luxurious and it's absolutely huge. It stays open til about 2:30 or 3... more

This is possibly the most beautiful bar I've seen on my travels. I have been to it several times on work visits over and it never fails to impress - recently I took my boyfriend over to Dublin on his first trip and he said it pretty much took his breath away. Drinks are fairly pricey (although the buffet at... more

Staff saw us - Belgium tourists- entering around 11:30 in the morning but continued talking to each other, 2 meters from us. While we were enjoying the marvelous decor, we waited at least 10 minutes before they came to us. Coffee was OK,...cappucino, never drunk such a good one. But, look once at the years-old dust and half-an-inch black smoke... more

I have been to this 'pub' twice now - only because of work leaving parties. Don't believe the rave review on this website - believe the truth:- Over priced, poor beer selection, poor and inpolite service, etc.etc.etc. FULL OF TOSSERS! more
