We combined our visit in Wicklow with the horse-riding which was the best part of the whole tour probably because of the great weather. We were unlucky in the afternoon with cold temperatures, winds and snow(!) so would have probably enjoyed the tour of Glendalough more if warmer and sunshine.

Although the day was extremely cold, the tour was made enjoyable by our witty, talented and informed driver Robert. From the moment he picked us up we knew we were in for a treat! A short trip through Dublin and out towards the Wicklow mountains stopping off at Enniskary, Powerscourt gardens and Glendalough. The scenery is amazing and the trip... More

We did the Full Moon walk with Hilltop Treks in Glendalough in January 2016. There were approximately 30 in the group and we headed off at 6pm. The walk was well organised and accurately described on their website. The terrain was easy, the incline gentle and the pace just right for everyone in the group, of mixed age and experience.... Our trip to Wicklow mountains was greatly enjoyed. John, our guide, talked a lot about the history and situation of Ireland's past and guided us on a hike around some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. To be able to see such wonders as Guinness Lake is something that blew us away. I highly recommend anyone to... More

Without hesitation I recommend using Hilltop Trek Tours to visit Wicklow, Ireland. This is a much more intimate tour setting. Our tour guide, Robert, was excellent - both very knowledgeable and personable! Having a smaller group tour for a very comparable price increases the value of this tour. My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter (12), grandson (9) and I took this tour... More

We took this tour since it was shorter than some of the others that required an early get up to go. This was a winter time trip so the weather was very cold and rainy. Luckily the day we did this tour the weather had cleared up enough for us to actually see some of the sights. John, our tour... More

Our guide (John) was very nice and interesting.First, we went to the Powerscourt Estate to visit the garden (too much rain for the hike), then we had a bus tour in the Wicklow mountains with many stops. The last stop was to visit the Glendalough Abbey.

I really enjoyed the trip, from start to finish our guide John was so informative and interesting. I traveled to Dublin with my partner for his business trip, and set out on the day trip to Wicklow by myself- I felt comfortable and enjoyed it all, from the quaint lunch to my horseback riding- even though it felt like gale... Though they arrived late to the Molly Malone's statue, the day was pretty amazing because of the views. We were 8 people (2 couples and my group of friends) and our guide tried to make our day funnier and very interesting by making some jokes, telling anecdotes and explaining that type of things that you cannot find in a book.
