We took the Mary Gibbons tour & it was amazing. She picks up at several locations so its very convenient. She narrates the trip with a mix of history & some humor. Her voice has just enough brogue in it that she is easy to understand & is also very soothing. She should do books on tape.We went with 3... More

We traveled from Dublin to Cashel, to Blarney Castle, and then to Cork and back to Dublin. LONG day, but well worth it!! Beautiful countryside and loved the castles! Well worth it!

Our one day tour of the Boyne Valley was a highlight of our Ireland vacation. Our guide, Jim, was wonderful. As we traveled the Irish countryside from an ancient passage tomb to the Hill of Tara, he blended Irish history & culture into a most entertaining web. Our group of 8, ranging in age from 7 to 70, universally agreed... More

Hi Ellen, I am delighted that you and all your travelling companions enjoyed the tour. I love my Irish History and for this reason it is one of my favourite tours. It is great that Irish Day Tours provided you with the highlight of your holiday here and I'm sure Jim will be very happy that he made such a... More

Expect a very long day from 7AM-7PM, but don't let the 6:50AM pick-up time deter you from taking this day tour. There is plenty of opportunity to sleep along the way. Make sure to be on time because the tour bus will leave you behind. I would suggest arriving at 6:35AM. This day tour was a great way to see... More

I took the Cliffs of Moher day tour with tour guide Sarah on January 18th, 2014. She was absolutely incredible and made the experience very enjoyable. The cliffs and additional stops were a great way to see much of Ireland. Sarah was very professional, entertaining, and really made the trip worth it. She is a true asset to this company!... More

I experienced a tour with these guys as part of a private hire. I have to say, I have experienced far better companies. I felt our driver (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) lacked charisma. He told a few jokes along the way but nobody really found them funny. When I didn't laugh at one of his jokes, he saw... More

we booked up for the Celtic Tour but was a bit worried when watching the news the night before because of the amber warnings of wind and snow warnings... knowing we were heading up hills! But, it turned out alright.... sliding down the hill in the snow was a laugh and the tour was excellent all round. Cahill was a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Belfast. Our guide, Joe, gave us a terrific history lesson (laced with humour) and bridged the political and cultural aspects with tact. I did not feel there was anything scripted about the dialogue and that, in itself, made the trip both memorable and unusual. The itinery was clever! From ancient to modern, rural to... More

I went with this company to the celtic tour and to the Cliff of Moher, the guides are very kind and they explane very well the history and the irish colture (even with jokes). The time I passed with they was amasing! Thank you guys!

After our fabulous experience with Extreme Ireland in December 2013 to The Giant's Causeway, et al, we knew we wanted to book with them again. In December-January 2014-2015 we took 4 separate tours with EI: Connemara (2 day trip, in conjunction with Connemara Wild Escapes) - December 28-29 Boyne Valley/Celtic Tour - December 31 Cliffs of Moher - January 2...
