Newgrange (megalithic tomb in County Meath) and Monasterboice (abandoned monastery with tower and two well known high crosses) were both wonderful destinations and the scenery getting there was lovely. We went on this tour the last day of our vacation, and were a little tired, but the tour was good. Our bus driver was very nice and told us a lot about history. The locations were impressive. The only thing I wish they changed was the lunch option, they had us eat at the first atraction where they had...

We took a full day tour to visit Newgrange and nearby cities. I think the tour company that you select doesn't really matter, as they will just drop you off in Newgrange - and the guides there are AMAZING! If I had to do it again, I would just pick the company that offered visits to the most interesting cities...
