Conor was an excellent Dublin guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge and stories about Irish history and the city itself made the tour really fun and interesting :)

I've done over 20 tours with Sandemans all around Europe. Out of all of them, the one I enjoyed the most (besides perhaps some of the pub crawls!) was going to Howth with Conor as a guide. Not only the place was amazing, which astonishing views and excellent food for lunch, but Conor made it even more interesting by sharing... More

Good intro to Dublin and Ireland. Our guide was Lisa who was very bubbly and enthusiastic and made it quite a sociable tour. The tour does not cover all of Dublins main sites - there were quite long interludes where Lisa shared stories with us, particularly at the start - I liked it but some folks were eager to crack... I've taken the free tours before in other cities and the one in Dublin was one of the better ones. My tour guide was Lisa and she was a very cool tour guide. The introduction of the tour, though, took too long. The bit before we actually started the tour. Otherwise it was a very good tour and I would... More

Conor was a delight and tried very hard to amuse the group although it was a hard audience with many Europeans not getting his humour. We loved his tales and thorough knowledge of irish history.

This 3-hour tour was definitely worth the time. Despite the awful weather, I enjoyed every moment of it. Lisa's passion for and knowledge of Dublin's history is contagious. Her great sense of humour made the tout even more entertaining in addition to very informative. Highly recommended!

Make sure that you have Conor as your guide. He is truly Irish and passionate about the love of his country. He had great knowledge and brought history to life with his storytelling! This is the best way to get a feel of Dublin. Don't forget to add on the pub crawl through Temple Bar!

I've taken several of their free walking tours in various places and as usual this tour was fantastic! My husband and I learned a ton and it's a great way to see the highlights in a limited amount of time. I would highly recommend the walking tour. We also did their pub crawl and I was really disappointed in it.... More
