Travelled from Holyhead to Dublin on the Jonathon Swift. Crossing was smooth and went quickly, with just over 2 hours at sea. Our disabled passenger was well looked after, although the only lift on board could only take 1 passenger at a time so the queue to return to cars was long. Returned on the Epsilon and you could feel... More

I took a beautiful ferry Holyhead -> Dublin. The boat itself was in incredible shape and the ~3-hour journey was blissful and well-priced (as part of a RailSail deal). However, I must note: 1) The signage in Holyhead was not great (however, the locals were of course helpful). 2) It was not as clear as it needs to be that... More

Day trip 20th August to Dublin from Holyhead. If your parking in the long stay car park, don't. Park on the side road 30 metres before the entrance, housing estate and free, walk into the long stay car park and catch the free shuttle bus to the terminal. The Swift was fast and stayed in Club Class for the journey.... More

On 17th August we boarded the night sailing Pembroke to Rosslaire. Having purchased the whole trip over the phone with Irish Ferries Liverpool I didn't expect any issues. With a 3 year and 18 month old kids a cabin was essential at 2.45 am !! Imagine my horror when the lady Eastern European purser told me there was no booking... More

I sailed on the Johnathan Swift 16th August. On 10th August I emailed your Disabilities officer to inform you of my Disability, Osteoarthritis. It was arranged for me to have access to your own Wheelchair and a noticed had been placed on my booking. When I arrived at Holyhead and checked in, the man at the desk didn't seem aware... More

Travelled on a return trip as a coach passenger. We were parked on level 5 and were told to make our way to the amenities on deck 9 via the stairs which are all colour coded to aid your return to the correct deck. Both crossings were busy, and finding a seat was a struggle. Once we had a seat... More

Booked to sail with Irish Ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare departing 14.45 on Wednesday the 6th August. We arrived at the port in good time and checked in about 13.30 and was advised that we would be boarding about 14.00, so we decided to get a cooffee and something to eat at the coffee shop that was advertised as open.... This was my first trip on a ferry where the bus was driven right onto the boat. It was parked on Level 5 and we walked up to Level 9 where there are many seats, shops and a couple restaurants. As noted elsewhere, remember the color of the stairway that took you upstairs so you can find your ride again.... More

We entered Ireland via the Holyhead to Dublin ferry and had a lovely trip. We were on a bus, we got off on deck 5 and made our way up to deck 9. Make sure you note the color of the stairway as that will lead you back to your vehicle. Deck 9 is like a cruise ship with restaurants,... More
