My daughter & I travelled from Wales into Dublin on this one way leg of our vacation. The drop off for our rental car was in the same terminal as the check in for the ferry, so dropping our car was a breeze. The ferry allowed us to check our suitcases, which freed up the space on the passenger deck.... More

You couldnt beat it with a stick if you have a motor. On in jig time, off just as quick. Prices are very attractive and in the summer you literally have to look out the window to realise you are on a ship. The Jonathan Swift is a must if you need to bring your car to UK.

A family of 7 travelling on the Swift from Rosslare to Holyhead. Arrived at the dock stressed, a few minutes before departure time due to getting caught in traffic. The ferry was packed when we got in and I knew it would be next to impossible to get seats together. An employee noticing us travelling with 5 kids pointed us... More

My girlfriend and I went on the Swift for the shorter travel time from Dublin to Holyhead and it was great. The booking was easy and we even opted for the lounge upstairs which was nice as well. Instead of flying to London from Dublin we booked the Sail-n-Rail for the scenic route which was long but relaxing.

The £16 upcharge for Cabin Class is well worth the expense. The seats are nicer, cleaner and more comfortable. The views are great and you get free coffee, beverages and snacks to boot. During the trip, I meandered downstairs to the masses and hurried right back up. The general area is loud, crowded and teaming. Pay the extra just for... More
