Our night with Johnny was the most memorable of our trip to Dublin! I initially thought our chances to take in this incredible night were not going to materialize as normally it just runs through November. Our trip had us arriving on December 1st. At the urging of my wise wife, however, I wrote Johnny Daly, and inquired if there... more

This was a wonderful evening we had in Dublin. Johnny is an enchanting story-teller...we learned a lot about the importance of food in Ireland's history, as well as Irish folklore and fairy stories. The atmosphere of the evening was great and so was the food (delicious Irish Stew)! The whole experience was almost magic... The restaurant service was fine, although... more

We found this on Trip Adviser, and its No.1 slot is well earned. It was an absorbing and entertaining evening, and the food was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this, and in fact am going to make sure that we return with my kids as they will be fascinated, as we were. more

We went to the "Evening of Food, Fok and Fairies" in November and it was great fun. We learnt a lot about Irish history, folklore and food. I would definetely go again. The food was ok - the service could definetely be better. I recommend the beef and the chocolate fudge cake. more

This is an absolute must do while in Dublin. First, the food is delicious, and well worth the money. Second, the stories are amazing, and a wonderful way to spend the evening. It is a great way to spend an evening, and a great place to go if you are by yourself (as I was) or go with a group.... more

This was the perfect way to kick off our trip. We learned so much about Irish food, culture, and folklore, and kind Johnny is a master storyteller - a true Irish tradition. I thought the food (traditional Irish fare) was quite good, and the importance of traditional Irish "peasant" fare is woven into the stories he tells. It was quite... more

We had looked at Trip Advisor and read the reviews and also looked at their website and looked forward to a wonderful evening. We were not disappointed. This was to be a special 25th birthday for my son and it was everything we has hoped for. We heard exciting and interesting stories and had great food. I will go again... more

Johnny is a fabulous storyteller. We learned so much about the Irish people and their story...it was well worth it. Out of ALL the things we did in Dublin, this was the most worthwhile. The meal was superb, the music was fantastic, and Johnny was magnificent. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the Irish culture.... more

After the first course of stories my initial reaction was, "This man has found his calling." Johnny Daly has a wonderful way of pulling you into his enchanting world of early Ireland and fairies. The interspersing of food and storytelling is paced so that you have a chance to mingle with your other table guests, finding out where they're from... more
