This is a fab tour. Takes over an hour and u get to see seal colony, donegal bay and Bluestack Mountains. There is music on way back with a singer. It was great fun. The staff are so friendly and great craic. Would suit all ages and would be wheelchair accessible. Bar serving drinks tea coffee snacks. Dont visit donegal... More

We took a cruise recently with some friends and it was very enjoyable. The tour is about and hour and a half long and sailing times depend on tide and demand. The guide shares some interesting facts on local landmarks and history on the outward journey. The return journey seemed to be designed very much for the German Coach parties... More

It was a stunning afternoon for touring Donegal Bay, and the Waterbus filled quickly, mostly with retired couples who had arrived by tour bus. As we pulled away from the pier we passed a funeral in progress at the nearby cemetery, so the guide maintained initial silence out of respect. He made up for it once we reached the deeper... More

My partner and I were in Donegal town on a wet afternoon and thought we would pass the time by taking a boat trip. It was fantastic! The flat bottomed boat was stable and the scenery wonderful. We saw too many herons to count, as well as grey seals, cormorants and much more. Eamon told us about the wildlife interspersed... More

Having visitors I wanted a different experience for them from the usual site seeing, and this was certainly a great choice. From buying the tickets, what a lovely lady, the greeting as we boarded from the crew, a very friendly bunch, the wonderful commentary dotted with a few stories, seeing the seals basking and a sing along on the way... Great experience of trip around the bay.Great to see the seal colony but unfortunately we saw no seals on that day.A few were seen in the water bobbing up & down.Guide played music & sang on return journey. Was short trip but well worth it.

This was a fantastic trip out into the bay. Great views of the shoreline, and the historic facts that the guide presented were very informative. Gettind so close to the seal colony was incredible, but the highlight was the solo singing of one of the crew on the return trip - just great and could only happen in Ireland.

A good way of seeing some of the area around Donegal Town. On board commentary and music but very much tailored to German coach parties as we were automatically handed a leaflet in German as we boarded.Good on board facilities serving refreshments. Enjoyed it but did think bit surreal listening to German tourists joining in the singing of Old Mcdonald... More
