This was a fantastic trip out into the bay. Great views of the shoreline, and the historic facts that the guide presented were very informative. Gettind so close to the seal colony was incredible, but the highlight was the solo singing of one of the crew on the return trip - just great and could only happen in Ireland.

A good way of seeing some of the area around Donegal Town. On board commentary and music but very much tailored to German coach parties as we were automatically handed a leaflet in German as we boarded.Good on board facilities serving refreshments. Enjoyed it but did think bit surreal listening to German tourists joining in the singing of Old Mcdonald... More

This is a great trip. Departure depends on the tide. The Captain is a laugh and there is a running commentary all the time. The views are spectacular and there are sand bars along the way and the seals were basking in the sun. On the way back the crewman started singing Irish songs which also included some for the... I travelled on the waterbus at the weekend with a party of 28. The craic was great from we got on til we got off. We all had tea etc from the bar and nothing was any trouble for the man behind the bar, he didn't fluster once! The captain spoke to us all as he boarded and the man... More

i would highly recommend this trip. It cost 20 euro per adult and 7 euro per child but you can get a family ticket. The trip is around 90 minutes and the views are nice especially the seal island. The man doing the commentating was very funny and witty. The sing song on the way back was great fun and... More

Very comfortable boat and friendly crew, but at 20.00 euro each is overpriced. Ive been on a good few river boat cruises and this has been the dearest. Not worth the money. The kids enjoyed the sing song on the way back.
