Popped in to see if we could get a game without a booking as we were driving through, even though there was a comp on they fitted us in on the back nine.. Tough but good course

Good golf course and good value in open days at 30.00 a head. Played with two lovely lady members who guided us around .. club could do with a lot of signs to direct green fee golfers as it would be easy to get lost playing a few of the holes ... sign on road says 1km .. longest 1km... More

Never had a bad experience at this wonderful course. Its a fantastic setting with generous fairways and not a links course you will find hard to play (18 Handicapper)

Yes it rained on us but when you are on such a great championship links golf course in wonderful condition it really does not seem to matter. The layout of the course is excellent and challenging especially the Par 3's and overall is in good shape with good greens and well maintained fairways. Good home cooked food in the bar... More

What a place. A proper golfers course. Just majestic. Be armed with balls and a sense of humour if the wind blows but be prepared for a true championship course in great condition, with memories galore over a Guinness in the bar. Enjoy it - its just a golfers dream.

Beautiful tough but fair, that best describes this place. Two seperate nines that really test your game from the first tee to the last putt on the sloped eighteenth green, but once you finish and order that first pint you know that its going to taste good because you earned it.

We played Murvagh seven times during a 3 week visit to Counties Donegal and Mayo. Very challenging with many tough but fair holes...its almost 7000 yards from the member's tees. Its worth the drive to Donegal. You will not be disappointed. Also the clubhouse for your after round Guinness is very welcoming. You'll enjoy the drive down the long access... More

Very good course, long but very playable and fair. Several blind holes and the deep rough can make a round difficult. More enjoyable the more times we played it, were paired with some local members who were very helpful with course knowledge Very friendly staff and members. Worth having an early dinner here after golf, the food is good, well... More

What a great golf course. A number of "blind holes" where you're driving up and over a crest which makes hunting for your ball even more futile. The course itself isn't overly difficult, but if you can't hit a straight ball (which I couldn't for the first 9 holes), don't bother trying to find it - the heather is impenetrable.... More
