One of the best nature parks/zoos ever! You feel as though you are walking on the African plains. The huge birds/storks walk right up to you and eat out of your hands. My little girl petted the kangaroos that were jumping freely around. Very nice place to go with little children! more

The fact that, at the time of writing, Fota Wildlife Park is ranked #37 of #71 attractions in Cork is an absolute disgrace. This deserves to be in the top few. I live a few miles from Fota and love it. Having a membership there is overall much cheaper than going as a visitor. Its the open-ness of Fota that... more

Fota was just like most zoos that cater to animals in a natural setting instead of cages. The only really interesting thing we saw was the Cheetah Run.
