A gem of a place to travel to with plenty of walking to be done! Bring your hiking boots and camera of course :-) The cafe is open for a spot of lunch and you can buy gifts in the Gift shop. Great experience had by all.

It was only €6 in and you get serious bang for your buck. The views are incredible and we were lucky as we were there on a glorious and calm day.

I have been to Mizen Head twice and was amazed by the views both times! There is a bit of walking involved in the visit but well worth it. The displays were very interesting and well laid out. This attraction is a must if you are in the West Cork area. I would recommend going early as it got quite... More

There is a lovely walk over a beautiful newly built bridge to Fastnet Rock Lighthouse via a very interesting Maritime Museum. Breathtaking scenery overlooking the ocean. The Museum displays photographs of the lighthouse keepers and their work. It gives a great insight into the life of a lighthouse keeper on Fastnet Rock. Walking down the 99 steps to the ocean... Worth a look to see how things worked in days gone by. Nice weather is needed however as it is pretty open to the elements.

Mizen Head was a very intense and beautiful experience with breathraking views of Ireland's South Coast. I decided to go there while in Cork City. Since I had no car I hired a taxi. He not only made a very special deal for me but he was very pleasant man and a fantastic driver. It was a gorgeous day and... More

Interesting exhibition and great views from the cliffs. Nice walk around. Take a jacket with you, it might be windy!

Mizen is beautiful no doubt, but as you dive up if you dare look over your left shoulder at barley cove beach and chimney cove. I love that view. Then after your walk at mizen head to crookhaven off season. Hopefully the fire will be lighting the atmosphere warm and the fresh crab sandwich and a pint of stout will... More

Mizen head reminds me of my childhood and spending sunny summers down in West Cork with lots of day trips. Returned to Mizen in Dec and the place is breathtaking! We were looking to get a dry but VERY windy day which made for some great waves and impressive photos. Love this place and looking forward to my next visit... More
