Mizen Head is an amazing place to visit at any time of the year... the fresh blast of air and the beautiful scenery is breathtaking. Walk out to the lighthouse and learn about life at this last stop before America. Take a break with refreshments in the lovely restaurant. There is a lovely craft shop also. Don't forget your camera... More

Excellent facilities with lovely staff to hand. Food really good with much variety. The Mizen Head walk is an amazing experience with outstanding views at every turn. A fairly robust level of fitness is required to complete the full walk as there are many steps and steep hills but it is well worth the effort to cover the entire area... More

We didn't originally have Mizen Vision on our list of places to see. However, on our last night in Cork a nice gentleman that we befriended at the pub told us we should definitely go if we had time. So we did - and that was one of the best recommendations we received during the entire 2 week trip. The... More

Magical! worth the visit, thoroughly enjoyed walking along the bridge and checking out the view points, although windy and breezy the views were unbelievable and the history behind it is amazing, romantic walks and perfect photo opportunities

Weather wasn't perfect but if anything that added to our visit. Photos atmospheric as a result. Cafe food excellent quality. Fish and chips. Lovely fresh food quality sandwiches. Good coffee and scones with cream.

The drive from Cork to Mizen head was amazing and after reaching the destination, that view of ocean hitting the rocks was absolutely thrill to watch .. Would have loved to stay at the site more but rain stopped us from having better experience of the place .... No complains , we enjoyed the time when we there...

Oh my gosh the spectacular coastline took our breaths away . Even though it was blowing a gale and it was pouring with rain it did not stop us from being totally stunned by such awesome scenery

We went here on our way from Cork to Dingle. It wasn't really 'on the way' but I am really glad we took the time and effort to go. The views are stunning as everyone has said and definitely much quieter than the Cliffs of Moher. The walk along to the information centre right on the point is paved and... More

It's hard for me to decide what is better the drive to Mizen Head or the signal station itself. Both are spectacular. Pay the price and do the hike over the bridge and out to the signal station. Don't hurry, enjoy the view and the displays. You'll find a cafe and gift shop as well, so stay a while. If... More
