The drive from Cork to Mizen head was amazing and after reaching the destination, that view of ocean hitting the rocks was absolutely thrill to watch .. Would have loved to stay at the site more but rain stopped us from having better experience of the place .... No complains , we enjoyed the time when we there...

Oh my gosh the spectacular coastline took our breaths away . Even though it was blowing a gale and it was pouring with rain it did not stop us from being totally stunned by such awesome scenery

We went here on our way from Cork to Dingle. It wasn't really 'on the way' but I am really glad we took the time and effort to go. The views are stunning as everyone has said and definitely much quieter than the Cliffs of Moher. The walk along to the information centre right on the point is paved and... More

It's hard for me to decide what is better the drive to Mizen Head or the signal station itself. Both are spectacular. Pay the price and do the hike over the bridge and out to the signal station. Don't hurry, enjoy the view and the displays. You'll find a cafe and gift shop as well, so stay a while. If... More

My husband and I went to both the Cliffs and Moher and Mizen Vision during our recent trip to Ireland. And while I loved both experiences, I must say that Mizen Vision was much less crowded and full of tourists EVERYWHERE! It was actually much easier to get photos at Mizen Vision because other tourists weren't walking in our shots... More

What to expect when you're at Ireland's most southwesternly point, surrounded by jagged cliffs and stunning rock formations? People. Lots of people. Cafes, gift shops, soft icecream. But don't let that stop you, it's still worth it. When you cross the Mizen Bridge, your jaw will drop!

A little strenuous climbing is called for but it is well worth it as the views are magnificent. It could be a little daunting if the weather was not good but we had the fortune to go on a beautiful sunny day.

A must see place , the walk around the light house is embedded with the powerful scenes of North Atlantic crashing into the Irish rocks . Well built and supervised place .

Mizen Head really takes your breath away - literally AND figuratively! The views are just amazing, and the force of the wind and powerful waters crashing below leave quite an impression. This is one place that I will never forget...
