Well worth a visit, might be a little strenuous for some (walking up and down). The views are magnificent. There is plenty of parking and it is well signposted so finding mizen is not hard. closeby is three castle head - makes for a lovely hike to reach the castle although a little difficult to find - ask at the... When we arrived it was very misty/low cloud and although the views were pleasant, we didn't really appreciate the area until the cloud lifted and we could get great views from the paths, bridge and walkways. Several fairly steep areas if you want to venture there, but enough easy walking and pathways to make it accessible for most, I think.... More

Great place for a fantastic 'long' walk. Great scenery and cute children's playground. Coffee shop on-site didn't use, but did use toilets (very clean). Helpful staff, well worth a visit

We drove from Cork on the N71 to Mizen Point. The drive there is worth it and the experience at the end is also worth the drive. The entry fee is fine and the sights, outlook and wildlife is a great experience overall.

By the sights and sounds of the ocean and cliffs. My husband and I both enjoyed this emmencely. My husband more so, as the public is protected by a fenced walkway,& he did not have to worry about me going over the cliff getting the perfect shot. You can enjoy the bridge and walkways at no fee. However,it is well worth the small contribution... I loved it hear because it did not feel too touristy. It felt like you were truly in nature. They have a small visitor center with a small, quaint cafe and gift shop. the cafe had a few sandwiches and soup at reasonable prices. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Pretty cool place - you can walk around the cliffs, there are several observation points as well as small museum in old lighthouse.

Mizen Head is an amazing place to visit at any time of the year... the fresh blast of air and the beautiful scenery is breathtaking. Walk out to the lighthouse and learn about life at this last stop before America. Take a break with refreshments in the lovely restaurant. There is a lovely craft shop also. Don't forget your camera... More

Excellent facilities with lovely staff to hand. Food really good with much variety. The Mizen Head walk is an amazing experience with outstanding views at every turn. A fairly robust level of fitness is required to complete the full walk as there are many steps and steep hills but it is well worth the effort to cover the entire area... More
