Stopped to watch the football

Had a lovely glass of Coors or two in this lovely pub. Much bigger than it looks from outside! Barman was very friendly - switched the Gaelic match on for us to watch. Didn't have... read more

Had my 21st here last night and booked a cosy seating corner for the gang (about 30 people) and paid a €50 deposit which I chose to put towards munchies/food for the night. Went in on the night and told the bar I had booked the place, and the loveliest lady behind the bar (called Marie) took care of my... More

Smooth, creamy pint and a friendly barman. Unfortunately I had to leave after one as it was a place I wouldn't have minded tucking in for the day.

Had a lovely glass of Coors or two in this lovely pub. Much bigger than it looks from outside! Barman was very friendly - switched the Gaelic match on for us to watch. Didn't have food but came back on the Sunday to eat but unfortunately it doesn't serve food on Sunday's or bank holidays.

The old oak is a large bar on oliver plunkett street and I would say has one of the most diverse range of clientele in the whole of cork. This is a local bar for all different types of people. There is a stage where bands often play and a small dancing area . Drinks are reasonably priced.

Not great. Pub itself is ok. But staff don't seem bothered. Food is poor. Not for me. Won't be returning.

NEVER AGAIN. Came in here on Thursday night with two colleagues after work, something which we do frequently as we work just down the road and like a pint after work on occasion. We ordered a few rounds and after a while went out for a cigarette. My friend got up from the smoking area to go inside to use... More
