Had a lovely glass of Coors or two in this lovely pub. Much bigger than it looks from outside! Barman was very friendly - switched the Gaelic match on for us to watch. Didn't have food but came back on the Sunday to eat but unfortunately it doesn't serve food on Sunday's or bank holidays.

The old oak is a large bar on oliver plunkett street and I would say has one of the most diverse range of clientele in the whole of cork. This is a local bar for all different types of people. There is a stage where bands often play and a small dancing area . Drinks are reasonably priced.

If you're looking for something to do un Cork, go there! It is one of the most beautiful pub in town, you eat very well, the beer is something amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. You always find an event or something special to do.. During my four months in Cork I've always been there cause it's amazing! Hope... More

Not great. Pub itself is ok. But staff don't seem bothered. Food is poor. Not for me. Won't be returning.

NEVER AGAIN. Came in here on Thursday night with two colleagues after work, something which we do frequently as we work just down the road and like a pint after work on occasion. We ordered a few rounds and after a while went out for a cigarette. My friend got up from the smoking area to go inside to use... More

This is a huge pub right in the centre of Cork. It doesn't look anything from the outside but it's actually really spacious inside. Loads of TVs showing music. I'd definitely go back if I was passing.
