Stopped by here while traveling between Cork and Killarney for some wakeboarding. Great experience: the staff was extremely accommodating, patient and friendly. The instructor was excellent, and was able to clearly help and teach. My son had a great experience and can't wait to do it again.

I suppose the activities are good. But it used to be a fishing lake and is still advertised as such. I had heard good stories about the fishing there. Unfortunately it has become a holiday/activity resort. For this the peace and tranquility of fishing is gone. Stocked fish appeared to be small and scarce. Won't go back there for fishing

I went to Ballyhass Lakes recently with a group of 11 20-somethings and we all had a great time! We did Archery, Zip Line, Kayaking, Leap of Faith, Gladiator Course and other team exercises. It really was a day well spent. I'd say groups or families of all ages would really enjoy it as they cater for all. I'm even... More

We got great deal, we went on a Friday and only cost €15 each for 3 hours. You can choose your activities and you spend one and a half hours doing each. We chose the gladiator course and the archery. You really need to be fairly fit for the gladiator but we loved it. You feel great when you push... More

I just had my second trip to Ballyhass and once again it was great. They have added a new feature which is the wake boarding. I'm not sure if it is completely up and running yet but we had a go and it was great. The water was warm and it was great weather. It's such a great spot and... More

I stayed over the June bank holiday weekend as part of a group of ten from our angling club. The welcome we received made me feel very much appreciated as a guest, while the advice offered from both Eddie and Tom was most helpful. The fishing on the two lakes was great, with beautiful clear water testing the angler, and... More

The large lake where you can sit and read and watch the fishermen using their skills to bait and to get a catch. Nice and quiet lovely on a fine day.

Group of friends and I went there Saturday to try out the wake park. I live locally so I have seen the lake from a kid upwards- growing from strength to strength. The wakeboarding was fantastic experience and all the gear was provided- and INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. Very worthwhile doing

I brought a group of teenagers here in March 2014. Everyone had an amazing time and the adults could resist getting involved too. It helped with bonding of the teenagers etc. Prior to arriving Eddie was very helpful at working out our time frames and even when we got there these changed and everyone involved made sure they got the...
