Often have interesting plays on. Been three times through school for plays relating to books and stories had to study for both Junior Cert and Leaving Cert, but worth visiting anyway if you can,

I booked a show on a whim and was not disappointed. Very Uniquely decorated it adds to the atmosphere. Will definitely go back again :)

This restored Victorian theatre is worn-in and funky in all the right ways. The 600-odd seat house has gilded edges and a star-decorated ceiling, and feels intimate, with a balcony overhanging the orchestra. Their bookings are inventive, with a mix of festival-fare and home-grown Irish theatre and musical talent. Well worth seeing something there for an evening.

Staying at a hotel nearby, I took the opportunity to buy a ticket for the visiting production of Oliver Goldsmith to give me the chance to see inside this beautiful theatre which dates back to c1840 although the main styling is from the late Victorian period. What impressed me most, apart from the glorious detail of the interior decoration, was... More

I love to go to shows here. The atmosphere is great. It's a lovely old building. It's is possible to get a meal nearby and tickets for a show, which can be very handy. Would recommend a night out here definitely.

A beautiful Theatre in the true sense. Very good productions at very reasonable prices due to the voluntary efforts of so many good people.

Fabulous production, not for the timid. The 2 young actresses were brilliant. Heart rendering stuff. Should have been better supported. We were there Saturday night. Plenty of empty seats. Deserved to be sold out

Been here twice. Both times for Oscar Wilde's plays. Must say I enjoyed 110% and look forward to going again.
