Huge, beautiful, lovely... what can I say. The most amazing park, perfect for everyone of all ages. Get on the bridge and have a beautiful view over the canal!

The playground here is great for kids. Because its in the city and in a park there are no teenagers loitering and no vandalism! The playground is suitable for most ages with smaller kiddie play area as well. The mirror tree is always a fascination and during the weekends when the bean bag things are out around the pond, great... More

Lovely park, especially if you can visit in spring or summer. Wonderful place to have a picnic and people watch.

Nice playground for kids. Dermot Gavin's sky garden is space age and interesting. You can take great photos using the reflection from his metallic balls!! Nice cafe where you can sit and look out over gardens and the river. Worth a visit.

Recently visited Fitzgerald Park with an American friend. This is a wonderful amenity in a great location. The gardens are wonderfully laid out and the Museum is a fantastic place to visit.

We visited after the upgrades to the park. The recent upgrades have really made a difference to the park. Diarmuid Gavin's Sky Garden pod has seating and now acts as a viewing platform. As well as the pod there are a number of art installations. It's a great place to spend a last afternoon with a book. There is also... More

Love this park ever since I was a child. Had my wedding photos taken here and my sons communion photos. It's beautiful now with the sky garden etc but I thought it was beautiful even without all the new developments. Lovely walk around and the boys enjoy the playground. Only thing is sometimes the security guards don't allow young children... More
