It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself « less

Ah, tis fairly class alright. One of the most well-designed campuses around, a friendly location for all peoples to visit or learn in.

We attended a wedding in the Honan Chapel in the grounds of the University. It is a great location for a wedding and the grounds are beautiful for photographs or just strolling about afterwards.

Great place for a walk or a ride with the scattered old buildings throughout the area. Amazing gardens and they have stones in a Museum style with engravings which are interesting. if your living in cork also a great place for further study.

Brilliant place to stay, the location was great for a base to go site seeing, we stayed at the Brookfield lodge student accommodation, facilities great on site for kids, the only thing was at night tree wasn't much going on in the way of entertainment for either kids or adults and the bar was very basic. The staff where very... More

My dad graduated from UCC in the 1950's. Now I reside in the USA but my kids have expressed an interest in going to college in Ireland. We didn't take a guided tour (I believe they're infrequent so be sure to contact the college before going to get the tour details) but walked the campus on our own - it... More

I used to attend UCC. Best 4 years of my life however aside from the friends, the partying and the learning aspect it is such a nice place to visit. It has great grounds to walk around and the Aula Maxima is a great spot to visit and in and around the corridors they have Ogham stones and it has... More

The UCC campus is one of the nicest I've ever seen. It's a haven about 10 minutes walk from the city centre, accessed also by bus 108 which stops outside. Visit the Honan chapel, famous for its floor tiles and stained glass windows, the Glucksman Gallery which is on campus, have a coffee in one of several restaurants available, pick... More

Beautiful buildings set out in lovely grounds. Saw historic stones on display. A lovely place, students must feel very lucky to have attended here.

By the entrance to the school there is a nice little path by the river. I loved how they open the school up for you to walk around inside. There are bathrooms in the very old castle looking building, FYI! Try and visit Fitzgerald park afterwards, as it is right by the college.
