It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself « less

The old architecture was really beautiful and, thankfully, there was nothing gaudy about the modern campus buildings. It's a really nice place to walk through, especially the courtyards, on a clear day.

There's a variety of architecture on the grounds with a nice bridge crossing the river. You can walk right through from the front gate to the back gate.

Gorgeous campus and a lot of history. There's an opportunity to walk around, visit the main building and see the aula with all its books. Especially when the weather is nice, I highly recommend a visit.

We stayed nearby and enjoyed walking through the beautiful campus and having a cup of coffee on one of the park benches near the quad. We enjoyed spending a little peaceful time here.

Very good walk around campus. Historical buildings, manicured gardens and right near the city center. Don't walk on the UCC sign, gives bad luck but still worth a visit on a sunny day.

Memories come flooding back each time that I visit De College where you get all kinds of knowledge(song). It must be the nicest College Campus on this Island.

...that's how I felt when I first went to see this beautiful old place. The buildings, the arcades, the hall, the old trees, the ogham stones - just the movie actors were missing... instead many students strolling around like busy bees. Just an uncommon and magical place you should come to see.

Excellent art gallery, which is a light and airy architecturally stimulating building in itself, a joy to wander around. The Ogham stones, in a corridor off the quad, were fascinating and worth a detour alone. Lots more to see including a chapel, observatory, and a library named after the man for whom we would all be at a loss without... More

Really beautiful University in a great location. We were there on a wet day & still really enjoyed it. Check out the Chapel which is so beautiful. A worthwhile trip if in Cork.
