A very impressive market, full of good quality produce, not just English or Irish, but from all over the world. Dotted around are very good cafes, with cakes to die for. If you are in Cork city centre, it is must to see

I wish we had one of these in Houston. Very cool experience seeing all the meats and specialty foods for sale. Some have hot food to eat too.

If you enjoy food you will love a stroll around this market seeing so many fresh products that you will definitely not find in a supermarket. Took me back to my younger days seeing different types of country meat like fresh rabbit. Don't go when you are hungry or you will be buying so many gorgeous treats, although there is... More

This is the go to place when visiting Cork. There's no better way to experience the citys soul. Have a tea in the upstairs restaurant and watch the people before talking your time walking through the market stands.

Great variety of food and foodies should not miss this place. Plenty of photos of the Queen's visit a few years ago that are fun to see. More locals than tourists and this is a real, working market. Great place for a snack, meal or cup of tea.

This is an interesting exteneded "farmer's market" type of atmosphere with an Irish flare. there are lots of food and meat vendors as well as a number of specialty shops. It looks like it is geared more for the locals to shop for fresh staples (meat, vegetables etc.). It's interesting but it's isn't something I would put on the top... More

This is a unique element of Cork life that should always be experienced when in the vicinity. The food stalls are excellent and the lads serving are always up for a chat and advice on how to prep / serve the food. A real must and always ask for a sample at the pre prep'd food stalls, you wont be... More

A real traditional market which unfortunately we don't see enough of. Our wander through the English market was thoroughly enjoyable as we viewed the produce we wish we could find at home.

I am not someone who normally enjoys shopping in markets but this market is completely different from the norm. A haven of delicious foods and quality produce. Alongside nifty little shops selling various different items. You could literally spend hours in here. cafes looked really good also but unfortunately I had already eaten so couldn't try them out. I will... More

My husband is from Cork so this is one of our favorite "go to" places when we are in town. Our kids love looking at the appetizing displays and meats, seafood and fruits & veggies. The place is spotless! The smells are enticing from sausage and peppers to coffees. Our oldest daughter is a huge fan of Andrew Zimmern and... More
