What a place! Something for everyone...so fun to look around. We went in the morning with our kids and bought fixings for an afternoon picnic.

The English Market is located in Cork's city centre and to visit it is a must, even Queen Elizabeth enjoyed her visit there! I've been to many markets abroad but you'll find it difficult to surpass this one for variety and freshness. Olive, fish, meat, cheeses, fruit and vegetables, cake shops, spices, bric a brac, cafes, there's something for everyone.... More

excellent food and service to be had upstairs in the English Market. It seems to get very busy, so an early arrival would be wise. We needed to wait for approx. 12 mins for a table to become available but it was well worth the wait. There service was very pleasant and efficient and the food was really good. It... More

The English Market is a covered market supplying mainly food produce. The present building dates from 1786 but it was refurbished sensitively after a fire in... More

We were staggered by the quality of the goods within the market and how they were displayed. Attended the Cafe on the balcony which was excellent too, albeit a little tight for seating.
