Visited with my husband my dad and my three young sons. Nice little adventure. Enjoyed the boat ride over. Had a nice walk around the island. Didn't opt for guided tour on this occasion. Boys enjoyed it. Nice cup of tea and brownie in the tea rooms on the island. Enjoyed it

Visited Spike Island with the family for 20 euro family ticket which was great on a self guiding tour. The places was amazing, was able to walk around at ease and the kids had great freedom and we had a picnic on the green areas. Inside the fort needs to improve and we were walking around wondering what Spike Island... More

We arrived on the dock in the pouring rain to be greeted by nothing. No shelter from the rain and were informed that RTE were filming on the island but this shouldn't affect the tour but it did. We weren't allowed in the areas where they were filming on "health and safety grounds " but were still charged the full... More

Wow love it lots and lots. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely tour guide called steve. He was out of this world. He was pleasant, friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable of Spike Island. We ran into Steve a few times during our visit and any questions we had he was well able to answer. My Kids though... More
