I took part in the night time Kayaking and I was expecting it to be something to remember. It ended up being that and more. It was an incredible experience and if anyone ever has a chance to do this, its a must. Jim, our guide and owner of the company was superb. He put everyone at ease and allowed... More

As part of our Extreme Ireland tour, we did a night kayaking tour in West Cork. Jim, our kayaking guide, was fantastic in leading us around and also explaining the history of the area. He was so well equipped that we really didn't need anything to protect us from the cold or potentially getting wet. Definitely recommend the night time... More

Five of us decided to go on the sunset/moonlit trip in West Cork, setting off from Reen Pier. We had the most beautiful evening. Our guide Declan was the perfect host; he was chatty and very knowledgeable on the local area, really adding a story to our trip. Everything was at our own pace, and there was no rush. This... More

I went to Baja with Jim on a Kayaking, whale watching and snorkling trip to the sea of cortez and I have to say it was the best holiday of my life. Imagine camping out on a island in the middle of the sea of cortez with just a few other people and watching the sunrise every morning, being able... More

what a way to spend a saturday night. Jim's rolling clinic, in the leisure centre pool in Clonakilty. great fun in kayaks in the tropical heat of the pool. It's a two hour session, from 9 to 11pm, it really takes the fear out of kayaking, and replaces it with loads of fun. I'd recommend to bring a pair of... More

Had been meaning to do this for ages and finally got around to it last week. As a local I can assure anyone visiting Cork that this is an excellent way to see the city especially as it was built around marshy river channels. Cork's tourism authorities never exploit the fact that its city centre is actually an island only... More

Although the weather was poor with rain and mist, it was hard not to enjoy it with Jim's knowledge of the area and sea life. Under his guidance, we covered 4 miles in the time and loved every minute. I'd recommend this to anyone who has and hasn't ever done kayaking before, well worth it. More

Had an amazing day out on the water. Islands, inlets, sea-caves and beaches! Gannets, Oyster Catchers, Cormorants and Puffins! The wonderful weather added to the perfect mix of good company (only nice people go kayaking after all), great stories, and happy times. Thanks Jim. Would highly recommend the experience! More

We did the full day sea kayaking and seaweed foraging trip and enjoyed every minute of it. Jim is an excellent instructor and his enthusiasm for the sea and its myriad inhabitants is infectious. It's a brilliant way to get a close view of nature as you're out there gliding along, very much a part of it. I now know... More
