We visited here for a family day in Cork and left believing that its one of the best pet farms in Ireland! The facilities are immaculate and the staff are lovely and welcoming. We spent a full day here, exploring the open farm and several of the exhibit areas which show the history of farming in the area and some... More

A great place for children with the animals, diggers, soft play area and playground. The staff were friendly, stopping to speak about the animals when passing by. The reason I gave 6/10 is the entry fee cost, there were 8 adults so that was €72 with no reduced price for OAPs. The other downside was that there wasn't labels up... More

We have 3 kids, 11, 8 & 2. Cost us €40 which I felt was a little steep. Inside was pretty decent however. We came on a rather grey, dismal day and the staff were keen to entertain the 5-8 families that we're there before midday... Great tractor & digger rides. Canteen was typically expensive so we brought a picnic... More

Leahys was a fantastic place for us to visit with a 3yr old. Loads of things to see and do, as well as visit the animals. The go karts, and the digger park were particular favourites.

Can fault this place. Excellent day out for kids and adults alike. Set aside the best part of a day for this place. My kids loved it so much we went again on checkout day at our hotel. Best open farm I've been too. Family run too I believe and you can tell.

Cannot recommend Leahy's highly enough!!! Having been to another open farm before and being very disappointed we decided we would give Leahys a shot. I must say we had a ball!!!! There was staff members all over the farm which we found fantastic. Each and every staff member was polite and friendly and knew their stuff. Everything was so well... More

We spent a lovely afternoon at the farm . There was something for everyone in our group there. The feeding of the animals to the kids having a go on the mini diggers and the young lady who entertained with traditional music as she shared a bastible bread that she had made over an open fire. There is also a... More

Well last year I gave the place a glowing review, we ventured back to Youghal again so we had to come back to Leahy's. Once again it did not disappoint- just love this place, €9 a head and there is no time limit, it's €8 at my local kiddies indoor play place for 2 hours, everywhere has had a lick... More

An absolutely wonderful, family-run open farm. Lots to see and do and definitely worth a visit for families with young kids. Old Mr Leahy is a gent, and we even got to sample freshly cooked bread made over the fire in the original Old cottage. Great variety of animals too, e.g. snakes, peacocks.... as well as typical farm favourites.
