We took this walking tour based on its excellent reviews in Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Jane O'Brien was a wealth of information and knew the answers to every question anyone in the group asked - it was impressive! It was a lovely overview of the historic town of Ennis as well as County Clare. About an hour and... More

My friends and I just arrived in Ireland today and are spending one night in a charming little town called Ennis. We just happened onto a free tour of the town conducted by the entertaining and informative Jane O'Brian. While guiding us around her quaint city she not only talked about historical events specific to Ennis, but she also gave... More

The medieval walking tour was a great way to experience Ennis. Our tour guide knew a lot of historical details of the town and she also had a good sense of humor. Ennis itself is quaint and colorful. The tour lasted about one and a half hours - just right.

Easy to follow map. Beautiful walking tour, so many many sights along the way. Lots of pubs to stop at for lunch or just a drink. We stopped at a pub called "The Local". They had great food and service. Good down home atmosphere. We were lucky enough to meet the pastor of "St. Columba's Church" and get our own... More

Jane O'Brien was the best thing about Ennis. She took the two of us through the cold rain, was upbeat, knowledgeable and most friendly. Even in the rain I wished our tour lasted longer. She was very accommodating to our schedule, meeting us at our hotel, although it was the off-season when we toured, so perhaps she's more flexible in... More

When we decided to stay in Ennis, we had no idea what a great city it is. The Ennis Walking Tour is led by a very knowledgeable and friendly woman. She took us through the city and gave us wonderful information on some of the medieval sites we were seeing. It is truly worth taking if you have a day... More
