I was here in April 2012 and thought, at last they have it right. The visitor center and the surrounds, although very new, were clean and welcoming. The displays were excellent and well worth the visit. The views and bird life were spectacular.

don't miss the most fantastic cliffs on your trip west - just fantastic - be prepared for charges of 6 per person when parking (bit steep) - also while the interpretative center was open til 7.30pm both the coffee shop and tourist shop closed at 6.15pm (daft!!) spotless toilets and good for those fit but if poor of foot there... I always get to the Cliffs of Moher when I'm in Ireland! I was able to bring my kids this time which made it even more special. O'Briens castle looked spectacular although we didn't go in. We had a great bright warm day so we hiked out as far as we could along the left side of the cliffs. I... More

Amazing views of the Cliffs from the staircase and Castle on the opposite side. Access to the trail to climb the actual cliffs was not in service due to renovations but we enjoyed being able to see them and take pictures from the other side. Insanely windy and you feel some spray from the surf (yes, from way down below!).... More

This series of zigzagging cliffs along the western Irish coast was one of the most amazing natural scenery and perhaps the most amazing coastal scenery one can behold. It is a 3.5 hour drive from Dublin. To see the cliffs is actually free, But the local gov't or some authorities have made parking availability limited to a parking lot which... More

One of the reasons we visited Ireland was the cliffs. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor before we left we decided to see what all the fuss about and we were not disappointed. The pictures came out amazing with the views are very special. The shops and cafe were good for a break from walking. Definitely worth a visit.

Not generally a bus tour person but with only a weekend in Galway opted for a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs themselves were spectacular, however it is the drive through the Burren and all the villages that make this day so worthwhile. Good stop for lunch at Monk's Pub in Ballyvaughan. The seafood was excellent. I... More

What magnificent scenery...quite amazing really. The site is well organised and very well maintained. Probably a bit of a challenge for those with mobility problems, but otherwise a good place for the entire family. There is also a castle-like tower which gives even better views. It costs a little extra and requires climbing some steep stairs, but it is well... More

The uphill cycle was tough but so worth it the views are stunning, all the way up and down, you can relax when at the cliffs which itself is also stunning, highly recomend doing this,

One of Irelands natural beauties on display. A little bit over hyped but definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Galway (75 min drive) or driving through on the west coast. A lot of hype for the Atlantic edge exhibition.... and not sure why. Just go outside and look at nature yourself instead of sitting in a room... More
