Museum part is tiny, but interesting, and on a nice day this is a lovely place to pass a couple of hours. We took the short canal trip - about 30mins. You don't really go anywhere, just up and down passed the centre, but for small children and grown up children who love boats it was great! The pilot was... More

Nice tea room. Lots of photos and information about the canal and the local preservation society. Trips available on their boats. Good value and many enthusiastic supporters.

This was my first canal trip and I really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and the trip itself was very interesting. I would definitely recommend this trip to families in the area.

16 of Our fibromyalgia group booked a Christmas lunch on barge. The meal was lovely. Not a lot of room to move. The service was good. We stopped half way for you to get out for a cigarette and take photos.

Lovely old boats, well restored area beside the Canal, cruises available - what more could you want ? The view towards Linlithgow Palace is amazing. There were cakes and refreshments available alongside, and lovely toilets. Again this was part of Doors Open Days.

Trips available at the weekend. Brilliant views of the Palace and Church from the tow path. Easy walking surface, and you are only limited by your ability how far you walk.

Canal Centre is manned by volunteers It is on the Linlithgow Town Trail.. While I was there Timothy West and his wife were filming for a TV channel. They should have put up a' sorry we are closed' notice that particular day. I met some very nice people.
