We had a good time pottering about on the canal. The staff were really friendly and we benefitted from some great weather. A little sun trap to have an ice cream at, staffed by volunteers. It's worth a trip out if you're in Linlithgow and is very close to the rail station.

I remember being taken here on school trips when I was younger. It was always pretty good; interesting wee museum about how and when the canal was built, and then you get a wee shot in a canal boat. I'd say it's one to take older kids to rather than going along and expecting something super exciting.

My husband, parents, sisters & husbands and our children all want on the canal trip (2.5 hours). The crew were so friendly and it was so reasonably priced. It was interesting and we all had a brilliant time. I would 100% recommend it.

we thought it would be something different for my granson`s 7th birthday to spend the day on the canal. After visiting the Canal Centre we found the staff more than happy to help & could not do enough for us. Even tho the weather was typical Scottish summer weather ( rain with patches of drizzle) it turn out to be...
