The hills here are so strange and very fairy like. I have no idea how they naturally look like this. Make sure to hike through the area, you will find some really cool stuff. There's a very pretty pond that you will first see when driving into here. That's when you know you've made it to the area. You'll run... More

This beautiful place can be tricky to find, but once you do, you will not regret it. It is so wonderful. It has all the dramatic changes of scenery like Quiraing and Old Man of Storr but in miniature. It is great for an afternoon yomp, and a very small hike to the "Castle" is a must. Great for kids... We returned to Skye this year because we couldn't find the magical faerie glen earlier last year. However once doing a little research we had been before we had simply driven straight past! I was hoping the little mounds and the interesting features viewed from the car were just the beginning of a magical afternoon however that is pretty much... More

We've been to the Faerie Glen twice now, and the resident fairies have featured in our tooth fairy narrative. This kids love wandering about, and mum and dad enjoy the views. Best enjoyed when the tours are not visiting.

If you're visiting Isle of Skye, this is a very surreal place thats worth visiting. It sounds cheezy to say its magical but it feels like something you see in Game of Thrones or a fantasy world in another dimension. Check it out!

A great Skye attraction, although perhaps a little bit difficult to find. Great views of Uig on the road to the Faerie Glen. The glen itself is just magical! I really have no idea how these great shapes could have formed naturally! A really lovely place to visit and perhaps have a picnic!

This place is indeed a miniature version of the wider landscape of Scotland. Even though it was drizzling slightly when we got there, we were glad we didn't miss this place. It's a short and gradual climb up the small hill, and the place looks really pretty when you see it in person - almost mystical in a way.

I went there with a tour and climb up the castle. It is pretty amazing how the story of Faerie Glen had past down till now. We had a lovely time overlook from the top of the castle. Love it

The landscape is indescribable....get yourself there no matter what the weather is like. 15-20 minute walk from the main road. Ask at tourist information or ask the locals

We loved this place. Quite transfixing and magical. Well worth a visit. Climb to the top and experience the views. It is only a short walk so don't be put off. It is well worth it.
