Quite out of the way, and peculiar landscape to walk around. One very high piece to climb, that one not for little children though. The rest was very pretty, with a few travellers from around the world, but all enjoying the peace and quiet

The drive to the Fairy Glen is a bit long however worth it. The climb uphill is steep but not very difficult. Once you reach the top (that is the tricky part as it is narrow and need to climb rocks) you will find a grand scenery underneath.

The drive to the Faerie Glen is on a very narrow road, we started wondering if we were on someone's private road but we were not. We had asked a gal in Uig where it was and she had told us just follow "that road" and all of the sudden you will go around a bend and know you are... More

The grove of trees through which you enter help convince you of the magic of the place. Whether you stay on the ground with the stone circles or climb the rocks for a better view you will be enchanted. Walk the circle leave a token and make a wish then exit walking backwards.

Finding this place was like finding a different world: the green is absolutely amazing, the little rabbits and the birds will give you the feeling your in a story. And if you climb the highest rock (make sure you have proper shoes as there are some very narrow paths between hills) you will see the most amazing view of Skye!

We almost skipped this place as we were running out of time in our day. I am really glad we made it there. On the drive up the tiny road you will suddenly realize you have entered the Fairy Glen. The terraced conical hills with their strange terracing, the different trees and plant life, and the cute little pond. As... More

I am giving this 4 out of 5 sheerly because of the parking. If you have at all been driving in Scotland, you are firmly aware of "Scottish Parking" where any part of the road tends to be a parking spot. Tourists and locals alike were having a really hard time not only parking a couple miles up the hill... More

The grass are so gree and fluffy. Imagine you are the sheep visiting this place, you will feel awesome in the cozy environment. As homo sapiens, you will find peace and scenic view of the pretty garden in highland.

My wife and I had a great time here. Well worth the visit and the climb to top is recommended but be careful as it can be a bit slippery :)
