During our three day tour of the Isle of Skye, we visited the Fairy glen and climbed the "castle". Our tour guide shared the stories of the "fairies" and made it a lot of fun! People who have trouble climbing through tight spots shouldn't try to climb it!

Strange and mystical place with its little conical pyramids and fairy lake. Completely unspoiled and simply stunning!

We were up on the Isle of Skye and decided to visit. Kind of hard to find, and a long narrow road to get to, but once you pull into the Glen, it's a very cool spot. The fairie hills, the ruins, the lake, very picturesque and lovely.

A little bench on the side of the one lane farm road marks the spot of the Fairy Glen. Get out and head right past the lochan and to the left you can't miss the glen with its weird spirals, cairns, trees with gifts, and conical hills. It's a fun little spot, completely different looking than the surrounding areas.

We only came here as we read about it on TA. Very cute place . You could imagine the fairy folk dancing around. Not sign posted. You need to go down the road south of the hotel which is sign posted to Sheadar and Balnaknock. Just like the other reviews you will know when you get there.

Our kids didn't want to go there, not at all. They wanted to go to a beach!!! But when we arrived all three were delighted about the kids or rather fairy sized mountains, houses, castle, what ever else was there and we spend three hours there exploring this wonderful little valley and its wonders. The week later, when we arrived... More

Really tight farm road to get to this place. A farmer told us that "when you get there you will know". Truly magical would be more amazing for kids to see. Take some lunch as there's nothing near by and enjoy.

Great mossy green hills to climb up and down. Its huge so you can continue walking and exploring. Beautiful views of the other glens surrounding. Car park available too.

I visited last year with my grandmother as she is local to the island but hadn't yet had the chance to visit Faerie Glen. I'm glad we eventually found the place (after seeing it advertised in a paranormal newspaper!) We thought at first we'd stumbled onto a wrong turn somewhere as it kind of looks like a farm/someone's home, but... More

This place... I was so excited to see this place with my own eyes after seeing picture after gorgeous picture for the past couple years. I was a little worried that it wouldn't live up to the photoshop, but let me tell you, there is no picture or gallery of pictures that even comes close to how it looks when... More
