What an odd and magic place

Well worth the effort. If you were smart enough to stay in Uig then it's only 20min out of town. Take gumboots or shoes with good traction, its slippery in places

I was really keen to see the Faerie Glen after its great reviews here and we travelled from Dunvegan especially to visit. I was totally underwhelmed, yes they are little hills, that's it, didn't seem magical in the least sadly.

Ask for directions before setting out. There are no sign posts. The road is the first on the left after Uig Hotel as you go UPHILL from Uig. The road is narrow, not suitable for wide vehicles. Go along the road for about 2 miles, eventually you will get to landscape that looks like there has been a serious mix... More

This is a must see place, after all the huge rock formations and climbs this place is right out of a Disney fairy tale. We did not walk much (tired from walks to Old Man and Quiraing) and was raining. Choose a nice weather time if you can and enjoy.

This stop is a must in Uig! If you stay at the Uig hotel, which I recommend, it is a short ride up the hill but is certainly walking distance. Apx 2miles but worth every step. Don't forget your camera!

We came here as a part of all day tour around the Isle of Skye. This is a truly amazing place. A short hike and you are on top of the this "rock tower" where you can see all of this tiny mountain range. It is hard to describe it as it is something I have never seen before. Pretty... More

A beautiful place on Skye, although it would benefit greatly from more signage, we only visited as the locals recommended it but even then it was hard to find. Truly stuning scenery.

Our 3 day tour with MacBackpackers included this place. Hauntingly beautiful, magical, everything that everyone else has said. The acoustics of the place meant that the waterfalls could be heard all through the glen. Amazing.
