Well worth a trip here while on Skye. Fantastic to explore around all about all the small hills and rock formations. Just make sure you check the location on a map first, as it is not signposted, which probably helps with the sense of peace there!

As we were overnighting at the Uig Hotel, we made sure to make a stop in the Fairy Glen. A fascinating world in miniature, one can easily feel like the little people are everywhere just out of sight. Only the sheep are full-size here. An excellent way to spend an hour or so before heading back to the hotel for... More

OMG! I don't know which one to suggest first, either to climb the glen for the view of surrounding, or to sit and glare at the fairy glen itself from the wooden bench just adjacent to the small pool. The view from pool side bench was exemplary especially in Autumn with the reflection of the brownish golden trees and the... More

It was a very peaceful and serene place. There was a mirrored pool and lovely hill and a nice trail.

Felt like I was in a Lord of the Rings set. This is not an arduous hike. It is a charming place. It was difficult to find though-off a small road just south of Uig. You need about an hour to experience the Glen.

Tiny winding road up to these mystical hills-take your time getting there, and you can turn around at the farm at the end of the road. You could hike for 2-3 hours, going higher up in the hills. Lots of rock labyrinths, stone circles and peace symbols. Lovely setting.

The highlight of a consistently great 10 days in Scotland. A truly beautiful and unusual natural retreat. Fairly easy, even for seniors, climb to top of hills on one side of the road reveal a wonderful vista with waterfalls. On the other side of road, a little more demanding hill takes you past the faerie circles and a climb (through... More

Lovely walk around an enchanted landscape. I hear the giggle of the wee ones. Very green and like something out of Lord of the rings...

I dragged my boyfriend to see this as I had read all the reviews on Tripadvisor and wanted to see what the fuss was about. Even though it was October and raining, this was an amazing sight and I cannot recommend this highly enough. Discovering all the various hillocks and then climbing the natural castle to survey this quirky land.... More
