Went for an easy walk down to the Faerie Pools, we were lucky that it was warm enough for a swim. The scenery, and water temperature, takes your breath away!!

The faerie glens was my absolute favourite place on our trip to Scotland. It was so magical and ki d of reminded me of the Hobbit. We climbed to the top of the hills and the view was amazing. A must see when visiting the Isle of Skye!

If you have young children then you just have to take them to Faerie Glen. It ignites their imagination and tires them out as they run up and down hills and through trees. Our kids age from 7 to 19 and all of them loved it. I was almost convinced I'd seen a fairy by the time I left. Almost!

Love the shapes of the hills & the way it is so hidden away just walk around and get lost in its magical feel. Lots of shitake mushrooms look like little people's meeting places hahaha. Well worth a visit if out this way :)

We visited the Faerie Glen a week or so ago and it was amazing! We had a difficult time finding it but we stopped at the post office in Uig and they gave us directions. We spent an hour or so climbing the hills and enjoyed every minute of it. Not many people were around so it felt really quiet... More

I had reason to visit Faerie Glen whilst on holiday a few weeks ago and found it to be a rather fascinating and interesting attraction to visit whilst in Skye. I had never heard of it until friends of mine mentioned it so we went to see it and it was really interesting to see. You can spend as long... More

Found this unmarked road just south of UIg. There is a small white road on the map with a sign to the town at the end. There is a signposting for that town, which is Balnaknock. If you get to Earlish heading south, you have gone too far. We drove the road and you know when you have arrived! A... More

My favorite of all the places we stopped on the Isle of Skye. Great place for hiking, climbing, and photo opportunities!

Fascinating hillock formations which seem to appear out of nowhere when driving along the track. Lots of paths in the grass to follow just don't get lost. Can get some really brilliant photographs and if you're quite you can sneak up on unsuspecting rabbits playing in the early evening
