We stayed nearby at Skeabost Contry House & a young girl recomended we come here. So glad we did, as it was a beautiful place to wander around & relax. The views are amazing. We planned to go back the next day with a picnic, but it sadly it rained.

Dog loved eating all the sheep poo around the glen. And rolling in it. Lovely view of the waterfalls on top

A nice place for a stop to walk or picnic. Always seems better when the weather is nice. But, when it gets misty it seems quite magical also.

a great picnic spot with strange formations and stunted trees. Not very large so parking is limited- as usual, go early or late to avoid summer crowds.

Well worth a trip here while on Skye. Fantastic to explore around all about all the small hills and rock formations. Just make sure you check the location on a map first, as it is not signposted, which probably helps with the sense of peace there!

As we were overnighting at the Uig Hotel, we made sure to make a stop in the Fairy Glen. A fascinating world in miniature, one can easily feel like the little people are everywhere just out of sight. Only the sheep are full-size here. An excellent way to spend an hour or so before heading back to the hotel for... More

OMG! I don't know which one to suggest first, either to climb the glen for the view of surrounding, or to sit and glare at the fairy glen itself from the wooden bench just adjacent to the small pool. The view from pool side bench was exemplary especially in Autumn with the reflection of the brownish golden trees and the... More

It was a very peaceful and serene place. There was a mirrored pool and lovely hill and a nice trail.

Felt like I was in a Lord of the Rings set. This is not an arduous hike. It is a charming place. It was difficult to find though-off a small road just south of Uig. You need about an hour to experience the Glen.
