My wife and I had a great time here. Well worth the visit and the climb to top is recommended but be careful as it can be a bit slippery :)

A local guide for the small group tour I was with took us here instead of Neist Point. I didn't make it out to Neist Point during my visit, but really enjoyed this Glen. It's an easy walk around and the scenery is beautiful and feels like something from a children's book - there's really no easy way to describe... More

We took a little side trip here with our Haggis tour group and it was amazing! So green, quiet and beautiful! I absolutely recommend taking a trip out to this picturesque little spot. You won't regret it!

We were there on a sunny day and just loved the place. Easily accessible and great for kids. Like being in a hobbit landscape. Green, soft grassy hills and tiny orchids!

We took a little side trip to visit the Glen and had a nice pleasant stroll through the area. We came here after visiting the Quiraings, and it was almost like someone had taken that landscape and remade it in miniature here. There really was an air of fairytale to it, from the small rolling hills to the rock circles... More

The Faerie Glen is up the side road by the Uig Hotel - it isn't signposted. it's a picturesque little spot with a mini tarn and mini hills - you can imagine wee faerie folk living there. It's worth a stop if you are passing that way but not worth making a special journey for.

Our tour bus stopped here for about an hour, and we got to frolic around like children which was great fun. There are great photo opportunities here, and a ton of little (and some big) hills to climb. I did get stricken with paralyzing fear while going up the walkway that leads to the highest point (also great photo ops),... More

We were intrigued, but after driving for miles down the sketchy road (where the locals were trying to get work done and just live their lives) we came to the Faerie Glen. It was sort of interesting to see the mini mountains, lake, etc. but it's pretty much a drive in & drive out experience. I would recommend spending your... More

The small hills were filled with wee people going about their magic. The walk from the Uig hotel is not challenging and the views are beautiful. Take binoculars for better viewing of the birds and ferries.

On our way to this place we were being told about the history of the place.....my son was s a little scared with that ..but still he climbed all the way up to the top of the ruins of the castle......The hike was tricky and would surely have not done it, if not for the encouraging tour guide John, who...
