White sand blue sky warm sun - laid on the beach looking out to sea and a pod of 15 dolphins playing ,breaching, tail slapping . Very unexpected but just amazing - would like to spend more time there

Beautiful white sand beach with rock pools and dunes, overlooked by green hills. As far as Scottish beaches go, this is relatively accessible. A reasonable sized parking area and a designated area for wild camping. The gallery up the road has a tea room and toilets.

I'm reluctant to give any publicity to this beautiful, white sandy bay with a sea which looks positively Mediterranean, with gradations of blue and violet when the sun shines. No shops, cafes, or nearby houses: just a small carpark and a quirky hut with a keel roof and, beyond the maram grass foreshore, this magnificent desolate beach. If you're lucky,... More

As we are staying in Spencer's house at Tobermory we took a trip along the single track road to Calgary beach. People need to slow down, how there aren't more accidents on that road is beyond me. Anyway you drive past the Art place and down and round until you can see the sea, then the car park is off... More

A rather hurried visit here was well worth the dash - breathtaking views, white sand and, because of the weather, a lack of visitors. Perfect! A beach to savour, rock pools to explore, footpaths around and dunes to shelter in. Just lovely

This was excellent surprise to have such a good comfortable studio room in the middle of nowhere in fact. Sandy beach in the walking distance. And nicely designed walking trail. Everything was great!

The road to the beach is a passing place road and we went in a motorhome which took some skill but it was worth it. Lots of scenery on the way. The main car park to the beach was busy so we drove a little bit further round to a car park on the right where people were camping and... More

A really nice beach golden sand and crystal clear water. Plenty of room no need to worry about finding a space. The kids love it

If you are on Mull you must make the effort to go up north to play on this beautiful beach. Nice clean water and no litter. Picnic benches nearby.

It is a stunning beach of white sand. We visited on a cloudy/rainy day but still the colours were amazing. The location is stunning and the walk along the coastal path is very scenic. The car park is not well maintained, with potholes but there is a car park opposite the cafe. The cafe serves really nice cakes and the... More
