A winter wonder- sun, wind and sea, and white sand for just us and our dog. So lovely to have this place to ourselves on a showery winter day after Christmas. Do the walk along the shore to the old stone pier. Just beyond here we saw an otter grooming on the seaweed covered rocks for nearly 10mins , and... More

Easily accessible beach and it is pretty but we preferred Lingmell which to access you had to park in the woodland car park a little further along the road towards Tobermory and then it is a mile long walk. We visited both on a cloudy day and sure they would both be much more stunning in the sunshine. Also liked... More

The bay has toilets open during the season and BBQ pits for your use. An enclosed bay which allows you to keep an... More

We'll worth the difficult drive to get there. Stunning views and walks. Scottish weather spoilt what otherwise would have been perfect.

What a view. Easy to find. Good parking and on a warm sunny day great to chill out for an hour or more.

Easy parking, sheep on the top part of the beach. Lovely big beach plenty of room for kites and kids to enjoy this beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear water, you could easily spend all day here with kite, picnic and bucket n spades. Lovely long walks off along the coast which were also worth doing. There is also... More

Just beautiful. White sand and clear water. It was paddling weather, cool but sunny. The air clean and sharp. Very invigorating!

We visited twice - not quite sunbathing weather but nearly. the first day the sea was the colour of Irn-bru - must have been the peat in the rain. The beach is big enough for everyone - children in the sea, families flying kites etc. And behind you have the sculpture park - well worth a visit ( and a... More
