Easy parking, sheep on the top part of the beach. Lovely big beach plenty of room for kites and kids to enjoy this beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear water, you could easily spend all day here with kite, picnic and bucket n spades. Just beautiful. White sand and clear water. It was paddling weather, cool but sunny. The air clean and sharp. Very invigorating!

We visited twice - not quite sunbathing weather but nearly. the first day the sea was the colour of Irn-bru - must have been the peat in the rain. Safe and lovely white sand in a beautiful setting, I love this place! Tea room and woodland walk makes it a perfect place to while a day away!

A must-see sheltered white-sand bay that is totally stunning when viewed form above. There's a car park close-by thsat leads you directly onto the rolling dunes and eventually to the beautiful beach. A short distance around the bay was a small camping area that we have promised ourselves to return and spend more time as this most tranqill of beaches.

Fabulous beach with great sand and rather out of the way. Marvellous for families, rockpools, picnics, wildlife. Well worth a visit.

We had just been to Ulva so headed up the coast to the beach from there, perhaps the wrong way to approach as the road to get there is awful (stunning scenery but single track roads with really tight corners and more than a few blind summits) but oh boy was it worth it. The drive from Salen to Calgary is marvellous scenary in itself. The beach is beautiful; parking facilities not great.
