You don't get close up views of the eagles but telescope and binoculars are provided. The chick had left the nest but we had good views of the adult female bird. Rachel was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and a breath of fresh air compared to the guide on our previous visit a few years ago. Thank you Rachel

A great afternoon out - the guide was very informative, and we learnt about much more than eagles. His passion for animals and the Isle of Mull came across very clearly, and I was so glad we'd taken the time to go. In terms of details, we saw eagles, buzzards, seals, really enjoyable. You are on your feet for a... More

We booked for the morning session on the Wednesday of the one week that we were on Mull. Unfortunately, the broken petrol pump in Craignure meant that we had to miss. Tried to re-book for later in the week but was informed that there would be no more opportunities as the Ranger was going on holiday!! Is September the "down... More

Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear you missed the opportunity to visit us. September is a much quieter time for the eagle viewing hide. Throughout the spring and summer we have two full time rangers on hand every weekday. Toward the end of the season we drop to one ranger and... More

The adults enjoyed this informative visit - we got instructions on where to find it and this was a really scenic drive, and added to the mystery. The day we went the chick had just fledged. We saw the adults and heard the chick. Lots of information and all our questions answered. Possibly too much info for our teenager.

The chick had fledged when we visited the hide but the ranger took us along the forest trail. we saw the juvenile and an adult fly right over our heads. Ranger John helpful and knowledgable.

Hi Sarah, glad to hear you enjoyed your trip with us. Thankfully our birds hang around a good while after the chick fledges, meaning we get great views right through til October! Thanks for leaving us a lovely review! More

We saw eagles even before reaching the hide! But it was exciting to view the nest and chick (big chick!). The guide was clear enough for the children present to understand as well as being able to answer adult questions.

There is a short uphill walk from the car park to the visitor centre, but it's not difficult, and is worth it, not least because there are often rangers present to point the birds out to you, and generally answer questions.

We visited in the afternoon and john the ranger was very friendly and informative. We saw five eagles, and a couple were quite close. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours on Mull and very cheap (sorry about the pun) at £8 per head.

Great to hear you were lucky to see so many eagles, obviously with wildlife not every day is the same! Good time of year with all the chicks now fledged around the island though. Thanks for leaving us a lovely review, we appreciate it! More
