Visited the eagle hide on 1/7/14 and was very disappointed, we where taken up to the hide which wasn't really a hide but a lean to, only to discover that the actual nest must have been at least a mile away, and very difficult to find even with a scope, and no chance of getting decent photos even using a... Hi Jason, sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit. We do have a full hide, right next door to the lean too shelter, but most people prefer to be outside with better visibility for scanning the area. We were previously slightly closer to the nest site, we probably told you on the day that the birds built a brand... More

Been to Mull twice and been to the Eagle Watch on both occasions. Really knowledgeable RSPB people on both occasions who are friendly and happy to talk about the birds as well as wildlife in general in Mull. You meet at the car park and walk up to the hide. There are spotting scopes provided which the ranger will setup,... More

Amazing and well worth a visit. Lucky enough to see the sea eagles but a sparrowhawk and a golden eagle too! Really knowledgeable guides as well. Excellent!

We visited Mull to see the eagles and had to visit Mull Eagle Watch! This is a definite for all nature and bird lovers! The tour is cheap (£8 for RSPB members) and booking is essential. You meet as a group and then walk to the hide. The rangers had excellent knowledge and were very helpful, taking time to answer... More

A great two hour trip. Telescopes were provided but our knowledgeable guide John, willingly set up personal scopes so everyone had great views of the eagle nest, complete with chick. Had golden and white tailed sea eagles flying and interacting together. There is some waiting about, but its wildlife and is too be expected. John took this opportunity to tell the group... More

We had been looking forward to this experience and it didn't disappoint . We opted for the 10am session and allowed one hour as advised by the visitor centre at craignure- we were grateful of this advice as it was almost exactly an hour from craignure to the eagle hide. The experience was excellent and fantastic value for money. John,... More

On Friday I visited the Eagle watch hide at Glen Seilisdeir and had a great time. We could see the nest through the scopes and had good views of the Sea Eagles. Also views of golden Eagles along the ridges. Our hosts Rachel & John talked to us about the Eagles and many other interesting facts about wildlife on Mull.... More

This is certainly worth doing. The view of the nest through telescopes is distant, but in the two hours at the nest the eagles are almost certain to fly - and if, as we did, you hang around at the end talking to the very knowledgeable volunteer, one may fly close overhead. And at the same time you learn a... More

Brilliant to see these birds at first hand. We came on this with our 6 year old and were a little worried that he wouldn't manage 2 hours of bird-watching. John and Rachel made the time so interesting and were happy to answer hundreds of questions - we had to prise him away at the end. The Eagles did their... More

Had a great couple of hours with John and Rachel. Very informative and a good view of eagles flying, and on the nest. Well worth the money. Would definately do again.
