The rating is 4 rather than 5 because of the weather, which was obviously out of anyone's control. John and Rachel were welcoming and exceptionally knowledgeable. We had been told by a few people not to bother going as we wouldn't be able to see anything from the hide, but thanks to the spotter scopes and the experience of the... More

Hi, thankyou for leaving us a review, we appreciate it! Its a shame you didn't have great weather for your trip but great that we managed to have a couple of sightings before the mist came in again. We're always happy for people to visit again on a better day if the weather is poor! Hope to see you again... More

Really good value. The rangers John and Rachel were both knowledge and passionate. Unfortunately rhe weather was not great the day we visited and we did manage to see an eagle but not in flight. The rangers were also able to give advice as to the best spots on Mull to spot wildlife. Will definitely return when next in Mull.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit last week and thought it was excellent value for money. Rachel and John were both entertaining and very knowledgeable. We saw the white tailed eagle in flight and on the nest, golden eagles and the stags on the hillside. No you probably won't get great photos, but the scopes were focused on the nests and... More

Was fantastic to sea the Eagles (and the brief glimpse of the Sparrowhawk!) given the weather! Rachel is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The hide is in a lovely setting as it is and is a short walk from the car park. A Mull must visit!

Visited the eagle hide on 1/7/14 and was very disappointed, we where taken up to the hide which wasn't really a hide but a lean to, only to discover that the actual nest must have been at least a mile away, and very difficult to find even with a scope, and no chance of getting decent photos even using a... Hi Jason, sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit. We do have a full hide, right next door to the lean too shelter, but most people prefer to be outside with better visibility for scanning the area. We were previously slightly closer to the nest site, we probably told you on the day that the birds built a brand... More

Been to Mull twice and been to the Eagle Watch on both occasions. Really knowledgeable RSPB people on both occasions who are friendly and happy to talk about the birds as well as wildlife in general in Mull. You meet at the car park and walk up to the hide. There are spotting scopes provided which the ranger will setup,... More

We visited Mull to see the eagles and had to visit Mull Eagle Watch! This is a definite for all nature and bird lovers! The tour is cheap (£8 for RSPB members) and booking is essential. You meet as a group and then walk to the hide. The rangers had excellent knowledge and were very helpful, taking time to answer... More

A great two hour trip. Telescopes were provided but our knowledgeable guide John, willingly set up personal scopes so everyone had great views of the eagle nest, complete with chick. Had golden and white tailed sea eagles flying and interacting together. There is some waiting about, but its wildlife and is too be expected. John took this opportunity to tell the group... More

We had been looking forward to this experience and it didn't disappoint . We opted for the 10am session and allowed one hour as advised by the visitor centre at craignure- we were grateful of this advice as it was almost exactly an hour from craignure to the eagle hide. The experience was excellent and fantastic value for money. John,... More
