A very informative visit to a look out point focussed on the nest and a new chick Managed to see one adult outside the nest and lots of movement by the chick. A visiting buzzard obliged by perching by the adult. Good for size comparison. Good views of a golden eagle out in the clearing skies. Well done to all... More

We did this on quite a damp Thursday morning, so views across the Glen to the nest site were not the best; however, our female guide was extremely informative and managed to hold our attention for a good two hours. Lovely to get so close to Siskin's too, which were on the nearby feeders. Would highly recommend starting any trip... More

Hi, thanks very much for a lovely review. I remember the morning and the weather did make things difficult. But the siskins and other wee birds always give us something to enjoy if the eagles don't play ball. Glad you found all the information useful. Thanks Rachel More

Excellent morning watching sea-eagles through the telescopes provided. Very interesting and informative - we picked up so many tips from our ranger, Rachel, which helped us with our own sightings during the week. Several objects to handle and information leaflets make it a worthwhile visit.

Great information from John Clare, the RSPB guide on duty the day we visited. A decent view of the nest through a scope, lots of other birds, but, as with all wildlife attractions, what you see can't be guaranteed. If you're interested in the birds, though, the information and the opportunity to chat with someone who really knows their stuff... More

Hi, thanks for leaving a review, much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed all the information provided by John. The nest is further away than previous years, but as you say nothing can be guaranteed with wildlife, we usually get great views of our eagles in flight too. Hope you got some good views during your trip. Thanks again! More

I have been twice to the Isle of Mull and on both occasions I have spent many happy hours just watching those magnificent birds. It is worth going with the RSPB guide into the forest to see them at the nest, however, the last time I went, I boarded the boat that takes you on Loch Na Keal. Although it... More

Unfortunately we visited on a day when there was driving rain and mist all afternoon so we did not actually get to see the Eagles and their nest. Despite this, John the guide was excellent and gave us a really informative talk about the White Tailed Sea Eagle which we both really enjoyed. It was great to know that the... More

Hi, thanks very much for leaving a review. The weather makes things difficult and we struggle to see the birds often, but you never know so always worth giving it a go. Glad you enjoyed the talk and information provided. We do have a portable toilet for use in emergencies! Thanks Rachel More

Hi, thanks very much for leaving a lovely review. We're glad you enjoyed the trip and got to see your first white-tailed eagles. We're working on some activities for our visiting children and so hopefully they won't be so bored next time. We usually have indoor opportunities for colouring etc, but we're a little more limited this year. Your visit... More

We really enjoyed this visit to an RSPB eagle watch site. You park just inside the pine forest in a good size car park - there's no toilet so make sure you go before your visit! You are then met by a guide who walks you up the hill - it's a bit steep and would be a hard job... More

This location has been built to watch a white-tailed eagle in the nest - currently has 2 chicks. The male flys in at regular intervals so a good chance of seeing an eagle in flight. If the rangers are present, they will have a scope which helps as the nest is some way away and binoculars are not quite good... More

A great example of ecotourism that does its job- educates, inspires, protects AND supports local community projects . A good partnership too - well done RSPB, FCS and locals.
