We went trekking with Liz and her ponies in April 2015 and had a magical time. The weather was amazing the entire week and the ponies were full of personality. Liz and Jean are so kind and generous and its a very relaxed atmosphere that caters for all abilities. We are definitely going back and going to do more riding... More

My sister and I have been riding at Killiechronan since we were very little, visiting every time we went on holiday in Mull. Four years ago, I had the BEST hack of my life. We cantered back and forth on the beach and up through the woods. We returned last week and took my niece and nephew (four year old... More

Took our kids on their first pony ride during our holiday on Mull. Liz and her team were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Our kids 7 and 5 were a little apprehensive but this soon disappeared, they loved their horses Hornbeam and Bobby and we had a very nice (& muddy!!) walk alongside them with our guide who was great!... Flexible and friendly proprietors and staff, beautiful and well trained pony's in a wonderful spot. Great value too. My kids love to ride wherever we go, and this is one of the best set ups that we've seen. LOVELY!

We went on the novice beach Trek on 18th August with our girls (9 and 6) We were all matched up with great ponies (mum and dad rode Eorsa and Mascari, with the girls riding Rosie and Hornbeam) After a short trek down the single track road we hit the beach - what an amazing experience, with fantastic views and... This school caters for ages with different experience of horses. Our family have used this school several times with no issue. This occasion we went for a beach trek and it was lovely, you need to ride on the road for a bit until you reach the beach but the horses are obviously used to it. Most of the staff... More

Took my daughter for the 1.5h hill and beach trek as an early birthday treat. She rode Leon and I rode Clansman. Both lovely rides. They took very good care of us. The hill ride was steep in places but put faith in your ponies and you will be fine! Riding on the beach and though the water was the... More

Lovely morning spent riding with 7 friends varying in age and riding ability. Ponies all had their own characters and the the girls who were leading were very helpful and friendly. We even saw a sea eagle on the beach. Highly recommended!

We had a great time on the 1.5hour hill trek. We took our children including a five year old, none of whom had been on horses before, and we all had a great time. The ride was fun, the scenery was beautiful, the ponies were lovely and Liz was a great guide!

A fabulous experience. Jean and girls terrific, especially with a daughter that was nervous (at first). Favourite holiday activity
