This place is fabulous and I love living close by. The ground are amazing - I run through them regularly with my dogs (cocker spaniels who adore the place). It is a tough running route - very undulating to say the least and some parts do flood a little if the rain has been heavy - but this all adds... More

Lovely swingpark for all ages of children. Beautiful walks and lovely visitor centre. Disappointed to see houses being build on land which once had a garden centre/coffee shop.

This is a beautiful park to visit. It has lots to see & do. It has trails, cafe, country house, castle & much more. There is a lot of history to the house that is explained in videos, boards & cards. It explains about the Hamilton family & their influence on the local areas. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful grounds and building with museum, cafe, gift shop, beautiful gardens, picnic areas and long nature trail walks!! You can look about the fantastic rooms of the house that caters to many weddings! The cafe does delicious savoury and sweet soups, paninis and homemade baking!! The gift shop is small but has lovely homemade preserves, cute little toys, silk scarves,... More

Great area for running but not with new trainers! Can be very mucky but a great day out to take kids or dog on a big long walk and see some beautiful views.

The park was very busy with families and children having fun rolling their easter eggs.It would have been perfect if we didnt have to avoid traffic all the time .why are cars allowed to drive all around a park with young children running about.one driver started to shout and swear at people walking on the path because they didnt get... We had a great family day here. Lovely walks, fantastic adventure play ground and lots to explore. The toilets were clean. Can't comment on the cafe as we took a picnic. Take a travel rug as there is a definite lack of picnic benches.

Its a very nice place with lots of open space and great walks, however, as with all these types of places there is very little to do to attract late teens or the 20/30 somethings - they always seem to be setup for small children (lets throw up some swings) or the older generation (scones and tea, benches and walking)...
