Great for shows, Air show, Armed Forces Day, pipe bands, you name it, if it's on the Low Green and the weather is reasonable you... More

There are so many beautiful places to visit in Ayr and this is just one of them. At the end of the car park is Ayr India with amazing food at a reasonable price and great staff.. Well worth the visit..

Easy to get to, lots of attractions for the kids with playpark and funfair. In addition access to toilet facilities easy and well kept and clean. Area around the beach well looked after and on the day was very busy however worth a visit even if only for the well kept beach.

It is unusual to find beach front land unspoiled and not developed but the Low is just that . Perfect fir strolling along the beach and watching the sunset over Arran

The Low Green is just a wide open space of nothing .there is so much that could be done with it, to bring some much needed life to the beach front ,it was fine about 30+years ago but now needs to come into the 21st century ,there is nothing for visitors no proper cafes or even a good fishfood restaurant... Great vast lawns which are great for walking the dog when the tide was too high to walk along the beach. Also great for picnics and playing games with the kids.

Free air show, In a nice, well kept park. Plenty space for all the attractions that were laid on. Nice promenade and a nice looking beach. The weather was great and there were thousands there enjoying the day out. The Flying display was OK, have seen better but it was the first year so it will no doubt get better.... More
