During the summer months the low green is full of Glaswegian neds fueled on drugs and alcohol. During quieter times this place makes for a nice stroll.

This is a a big green space to use as you want. It is right on the sea front at the esplanade. Great for a five-a-side footy game with the family. Or a picnic. Or Kite flying, which is done all the time. The sea breezes help ! Bring a chair and sunbathe while the rest go on the sand,or onto... More

Great big outdoor space for a picnic or the airshow this September which was awesome last year and will be even bigger this year. We were at the holy fair and armed forces day here it was a great day out.

There are so many beautiful places to visit in Ayr and this is just one of them. At the end of the car park is Ayr India with amazing food at a reasonable price and great staff.. Well worth the visit..

Set right on the town of Ayr's esplanade this is a vast grassed area facing out directly to the sea in the summer time in good weather its always busy with people and families ample access to ice-cream and fish and chips outlets as well as licence premises for bar lunches.

Easy to get to, lots of attractions for the kids with playpark and funfair. In addition access to toilet facilities easy and well kept and clean. Area around the beach well looked after and on the day was very busy however worth a visit even if only for the well kept beach.
