On our lovely time in Ayr we decided to visit this centre. From the moment we went into the office the staff were excellent. They could not be more helpful and considerate. The staff were very concerned about the standard my 13 yrs and 15yrs children riding and would not allow them to ride without a lead as the hack... More

My family and I were on holiday in Ayr and decided to give the beach ride a go. We are all experienced riders and we had a great time. It was a thoroughly enjoyable ride, on great horses and with a knowledgable instructor

relatives went, I paid, didnt get full hour, staff very dour and unhelpful, horses disinterested, tired looking. They only wanted to ride in indoor school because of the weather, said wont go again.

I have been going to Ayr Equestrian for around 15 years now and I have never found fault with anything up there. In all my years going there I have never once seen a 14 year old girl taking lessons, all the staff are 18+ and I know the centre would never let anyone so young teach a lesson! Also,... More

So, tonight, I was reading the other reviews and noticed someone had said that the place is "Poor." But personally, if you ask me, the person needs to get their facts correct before insulting anybody. Ayrshire Equitation Centre would not let anyone under the age of 18yo take any lessons due to health and safety reasons and also the place... More

I used to go to this centre frequently a few years ago and found it great. however recently have taken my two children and was disappointed at the lack of customer service and safety, on both occasions there was a young girl (14?) in age trying to take out three children on the horses for half hour riding lessons. On... More

The equestrian centre is very proffesional and has good horses that will be matched to their rider. We have used it a few times for our daughter who is now 10 and she loves it. The down-side to its location is that the trek often involves riding on the road which may not suit everybody. I have used other places... More

Staff are friendly as are the horses(!) and there is the choice of indoor or outdoor riding. The half hour lesson flew in and next time I booked a hack to the beach which was amazing (apparently also enjoyed by LEONA LEWIS(!!!) last year. The shop has a huge range of equestrrian clothing and horse goodies, I shall definetely be... More
