On holiday in Ayr with a 18 month old and a 4.5 year old. Weather not the greatest so we ventured to Pirate Petes. The fist thing i noticed was the smell - there wasn't one !!!!!! which was a great as if you have been to any of these kids type places some of them have a really off... More

Pirate Pete's is fun for big kids as the play structure is suited to the over 5s and there are some other attractions like xboxes and wiis (although perhaps not ideal if you want to keep them off their consoles for a while). The play area for under 5s is ok but is quite enclosed so there isn't much space... More

My kids loved it and the food was very good. Loads for the kids to climb on and space to run around. Definitely would recommend.

Let me start by stating that I don't normally write reviews, I am one of these 'parasites' that use sites like Trip advisor but never actually contribute anything back. However, I felt compelled to add my 'tuppence worth' after a recent visit to PP. Having read some recent 'negative' reviews on this site, I almost didn't visit the venue but... More

Down from Glasgow visiting pals in Ayrshire, who suggested Pirate Pete's for our kids (6&3). Well, the kids had a great time for best part of 2 hours - the place is ENORMOUS with loads of stuff to climb on / play on - but better still I was able to chill out with a lovely proper Italian coffee(!) and... Tend to use tripadvisor for checking where to and where not go; and having seen the glowing reviews Pirate Pete's has been receiving I was glad to give it a try whilst watching my 2 nephews today (they are 4 years old and 18months); however following our visit I feel it is only fair to write a review which reflects... Trip advisor reviews are all subjective, yet some are written quite unjust and detrimental to a business. We are not arrogant enough to assume we appeal to everyone and take reviews on board good or bad. We have owned Pirate Petes for 9 years and are very hands on owners. To recieve a negative review like this is hurtful to... More

With having two nephews who are 3 & 5 years old, it is hard to keep they occupied and entertained. Upon my day off or looking after them I never know what to do, I had taken them down for a walk along the beach and wondered inside to let them play for an hour or two, as Pirate Pete's... More

I've started going to Kidz Play Prestwick but wasted time and money in there!! Pirate Petes is so much better!! Nice staff, safe for little ones as Kidz Play has large holes in their netting plus little ones are allowed with parents on a frame in Pirate Petes so you can guide your little one during their first moments here.... Visited Pirate Pete's with our two young children on a recent holiday. Great play areas, helpful and friendly staff. Good offers on entry prices and food which we all enjoyed. Very good and happy all-round experience.
