despite the previous weeks weather we played and extremely enjoyed our round of golf. Understandably some of the holes were closed but, the rest of the course was in excellent order. Starter was helpful with directions Catering. Very tasty filled rolls Professional. cheerful with some handy tips. the only negative was there were no hole numbers on the tees

I don't play golf, but I know people who do and they enjoy Belleisle! The entrance is through Belleisle Park which is on the coastal road out of Ayr. Coming from Ayr, take Racecourse Road (which, just to confuse you) is nowhere near Ayr Racecourse! It is so named as the original Racecourse used to be out before Belleisle Park!... More

an excellent golf course, great layout and fair test for all catagories of golfer. The course is still in good order although not as well looked after as in years gone by. The professional's shop is closed at the moment due to the renovation of the Bellisle House Hotel. I do hope it will re-open as it was one of the... More

This area is blessed with great courses and great hotels. Have a look at the South Ayrshire Councils deals they have for golf and pick a hotel according to your budget. You will not be disappointed. If only the "council" would spend more money insuring that that the course was ALWAYS in great condition they would have a world beater. What you... More

There are many places to play along this stretch of SW Scotland, but Belleisle offers a James Braid beauty for a very reasonable price. Nice change of pace from links courses too.

The course can be quite moist in certain... More

The park surrounding the golf course is excellent, with a deer park, plenty of space to run around, or have a picnic and a childrens playground. My 2 year old loves going whatever the weather.
