This bookshop sells secpond hand books and over the years has raised thousands of pounds for six different charities. Well run and very organised - plenty of books to choose from and very reasonable. Fiction as well as non fiction books available.

Had read about this charity store on the platform of Pitlochry Station so was determined to go and browse. Well stocked shop, friendly staff/volunteers, lovely location. Read one book in the evenings and on the coach, took back as a donation and bought another one for the journey home. Good cause and lovely to see an old-fashioned station.

The station itself has been revamped and won several awards, well done. It provides comfortable waiting areas, interesting historical info, and accurate info about the trains, it is staffed with helpful people who were engaged in de icing the platforms as well as selling tickets, it has a good set of info timetables etc, and the bookshop raises money for... A community bookshop right there on the railway station selling all books (all wonderfully diverse books) for 1 pound each. Your hand quivers as you try to limit yourself to just 4 or 5 as you don't want the ectra weight in your luggage but like an alcoholic in a brewery this takes extreme willpower. And the volunteers actually help... More

This is a charity bookshop and well worth visiting, even if you're not taking a train. Books are divided into sections, and you can be sure to find something to fit your taste. They have a good Collectible section of hardbacks as well as Scottish and Childrens books. Very friendly volunteer staff who will take time to talk to you.

Noticed the shop as I got off the train, so I went in to have a look. I came out with two books for £1.50 and both were in impeccable condition. There is such a wide selection, and the lady serving was very helpful. You can also buy coffee to drink while browsing!

Basically this is a 2nd hand bookshop at the station which raises money for a variety of good causes. However it is so much more. The staff are friendly and we have on numerous occasions found books that we have been after for a while or never seen before. I am not talking rare first edition books here (although I... More
