I was travelling in Scotland with a cousin this northern summer. We stayed in Pitlochry for 4 nights and had already visited the Cranog and other sites when I found this on Trip Advisor. The GPS coordinates took us to the wrong private property which also had standing stones. I suspect they are everywhere and Indon't like invading the private... More

We happened upon Tigh Na Ruaich Stone Circle as we headed back to the Tummel Lodge B&B. We were greeted at the gate by the owner of the nursery (where the ancient stone circles are). Its a bit hard to find, but very unusual and interesting. For instructions on viewing, probably the best thing is to put the name of the stone circle into a search engine and get instructions.
