Having seen 3 plays over 2 days I have nothing but praise for the actors who do the season here. They are very talented, have great diction and even when one sees the same actors in 2 productions, in the space of one day you get so engrossed in the production, that you forget their earlier role. However a couple... More

We went for one night to see Lady in the Van. The theatre is well laid out and most seats offer a very good view. Tickets where around 20.00 pounds which we found very reasonable 4 rows from the front. You can get drinks and nibbles with an interval about 1/2 way.

A beautiful theatre in an idyllic setting. There is always a production that proves too tempting to resist and there is usually something to suit most people's taste. There is a lovely shop in the foyer, coffee shop and restaurant - suggest booking for restaurant. Have never been disappointed with any productions and would highly recommend a visit.

If you are a fan of Sondheim you will love this, or if you want to experience Sondheim for the first time then see A Little Night Music at Pitlochry. An excellent cast of actors and, at last, some fabulous singers, combined with a resident group of musicians with conductor (makes such a difference) take us through the complicated relationships... It's beautiful position overlooking the river, it's fabulous restaurant, it's breathtakingly excellent stage productions, it's attentive staff, it's art exhibitions, it's unique shop, it's quality throughout..... what more can I say! DO NOT miss out on a visit, day or night.

PFT is a class act. Comfortable auditorium in which to enjoy quality productions with professional companies. The season program tends to colour judgement, but the theatre is the leading light. Not a huge Sondheim fan (verbal onslaughts set to music, confusing lyrics when sung in jutaxposition over each other) there are highlights to the Little Night Music over and above... More

The staff in the theater were fabulous, welcoming, informative and knowledgeable. The whole place is set in magnificent views, with lovely walks surrounding the building. We were lucky enough to catch two plays that were performed by a stellar cast with a wonderful lunch in the restaurant in between that had menus designed around the plays themselves! A really amazing... More

Well appointed alongside the river, good shop and restaurant. Beautiful theatre, all seats with no restricted views. We saw "Improbable Fiction", laughed so much. Wonderful theatre company, cast awesome!
