I liked the view of the fishermen, but the theatre was only a quarter full, I suppose jazz is an acquired taste.

We see every show that is on during our time in Scotland, September time. The shows/plays follow each other, different every night each week and people visit Pitlochry simply to go to the theatre; there are hotels that cater just for theatre goers. Back to the heading. The theatre is an amazing place. You can visit almost anytime of day... More

Went specially to Pitlochry to see a performance of Rapunzel! It was a modern ballet with superb athleticism by the key performers! Music was quite outstanding! Use of local children fired family interests. All in all it was most enjoyable

We went to hear Judy Fairbairns and she was excellent. We had coffee which was lovely and I bought a signed copy of Judy's book. I loved it.

Thank you for your review. Winter Words really is a fantastic festival at a time of year when we all just want to cosy up with a good read on those cold, dark nights. Hope you can visit us again soon. More

Enjoy a lovely theme based meal before the show. Loads of spaces to park because you are there earlier for the meal. Then take your seats for one of the best Festival Theatre performances that you will see for miles. One of the best performances we have seen for many, many years was "White Christmas" just like the film, even... More

With a small group, we went to the excellent pre-Christmas show called "Miracle on 34th Street" on 13 December. The plot is well known having featured in a black-and-white film that is shown most years, but this stage version was a revelation. The stage sets were wonderful, with tower blocks transformed in a blink of an eye into a courtroom,... More

We visit the theatre a couple of times a year from Edinburgh and have never been disappointed with any of the productions. Miracle on 34th Street was fab! The tickets are very well priced and the auditorium offers great views of the stage wherever you are sitting. Looking forward to our next visit!
