We say a matinee of A Little Night Music in August 2015. The stage production was Broadway quality as well as the performers and musicians. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the performance for a summer theatre. It was well worth seeing. The performers who also played instruments in this specific production were top quality. The singing voices... More

We have visited this theatre a number of times over the years. We have never been disappointed with the quality of performances. Good variety of plays for all age groups & interests. The building is perfect for a theatre although it has been purpose built. Staff helpful. Parking can be an issue especially availability of disabled parking.

Visited on Saturday August 22nd whilst visiting a friend on The Black Isle. The theatre itself is an absolute gem in a lovely location and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We went to see Improbable Fiction, an hilarious play with a brilliant cast, which we thoroughly enjoyed, both laughing until we cried. Would highly recommend the theatre and... More

A wonderful location and a wonderful building offering everything one could expect from a provincial theatre albeit a very distinguished one.

This year PFT have put together a very eclectic range of plays for their summer season, with plenty options suitable for all tastes. Both performances we attended [Earnest and Night Music] were of the usual PFT high standard, and most enjoyable. We hadn’t seen the Sondheim musical before, and found it a bit confusing at the start, and a little... More

Hi, thanks so much for your lovely review. Please do discuss your seating requirements with our box office staff. There is greater leg room in the front section of the theatre up to Row H. If you have already booked seats for Havana, and feel that they may be unsuitable then please call 01796 484626 and the box office staff... More

The seats are quite close together so if you are tall try for an aisle seat otherwise you may be very uncomfortable - The night we went the air conditioning didn't work and it was very very hot, other than that the stage is unobstructed and tickets fairly priced and within walking distance of Pitlochry town ( 10mins)

Hi, thank you for your review and it's lovely to know you enjoyed the performance. With regard to the air conditioning, we have had very few complaints so far this year! There can be instances when the outside temperature drops or rises quickly and it then takes time for the air conditioning to catch up, so this may have been... More

We were staying in Pitlochry and decided to have a visit to the theatre to see Improbable Fiction. What a great find. The theatre itself has no posts and as far as I could tell you would get a great view from any seat. We had a drink before hand in the bar and the staff were very friendly. Improbable... More
