These display an amazing variety of artifacts illustrating the history of the Regiment as well as a fine collection of paintings and photography. Supplemented by a number of audiovisual installations the overall experience is highly evocative and brings to life the experience of serving in the Black Watch from Fontenoy to Fallujah and beyond. « less

It was a fantastic museum, I knew very little about the Black watch regiment, but came out knowing soooo much. The staff were very helpful. There are quite a few stairs to walk up and down so not great if you have a buggy or aren’t very good with stairs. The tour was from the origins of the regiment through... More

Went here on a focused excursion in mind. Following my ancestry family tree went to find out any information that relatives had when they had joined up in previous war times records. Found out lots of information and the staff were helpful. More

Thanks for your review. We are sorry that you were surprised by the entrance fee - this is something we have had to think long and hard about. We are also sorry that you felt it wasn't value for money. We are an independent charity and the entrance fee, in fact, only covers the basic costs of keeping the building... More

You could spend hours here - there is alot to see. The admission is very reasonable and the staff are knowledgeable. The shop had alot of great... More

Having visited this Regimental Museum at Perth Scotland last month (june 2010) it is an excellent historical museum covering the over 200 years service . This museum is situated in the 14Century L shaped Balhousie castle and the displays from the Regimental history covers 3-4 floors of the old castle . An impressive display of military items in this famous... More
