This was the last production at Perth Theatre before it closed for refurbishing. A different take on Cinderella, super acting and familiar pop music with topical lyrics. The best pantomime we have seen for some time. There was one particularly enjoyable part where the ugly sisters and wicked step mother very ably ad-libbed their way out of a hilarious wig... More

Fantastic little historic theatre. Have attended three times to see afternoon concerts as part of Perth's annual Americana festival over the last few years. Bright and welcoming foyer area leads to a beautiful Victorian Theatre; one of the prettiest I have come across. The acoustics are superb with atmosphere and involvement to match. Its just closed for a two year... More

As already mentioned by another reviewer, the photo attached to 'Perth Theatre' is in fact, not the theatre but Perth Concert Hall - a more modern building on another street - but not far from the Theatre. Perth Theatre will be closing for a 2-year renovation after the current panto ends in January. As stated, Perth Concert is a modern,... More

Went to see this play at the lovely old Perth Theatre. That's not it in the photo above, that's the new Concert Hall! Very enjoyable evening for whole family. Welcoming staff and good, clean facilities.

We attended a meeting there, the room was nice and bright and the sound system was very good. Refreshments were fresh and of good quality.

Our first time visit to Perth theatre, what a pleasure. A clean bright modern venue, just the right size to put you in touch with the stage performance. Excellent seating with good leg room. Downside? signs everywhere telling you not to take in drinks to the performance but they were not enforced.

A real traditional Edwardian theatre in miniature. A small number of Perth productions and some joint ventures available with the occasional touring production. The annual pantomime is just about as traditional as it is possible to get and none the worse for that. About to be given a major facelift and will be closed from 2014 for some time so... More
