Having visited this park a number of times over the past few years,I am disgusted at how run down it has become. Is there no one maintaining it? I like to see animals being kept in a more natural environment, but this is just poorly kept. The animals look unhappy and dejected, and all look as though some TLC would not... More

But we had a blast. Staff were helpful and even went out of their way to bring a rabbit to meet my daughter. I work in animal welfare and can assure you that the animals are in good health with good environments. When we visited the only overgrown enclosures were empty. A great day out with a fab play area... More

After being to this park twice in previous years it was very upsetting to see these animals. They looked unhappy had no feed or water in pens and most of them were dirty horses needed a good groom. Having knowledge about African grays cokatoos and macaw birds as my mum would own and care for several of these birds I... More

After reading all the negative reviews about this place we were apprehensive going here but we are really glad we did. Sure there is a lot of overgrown weeds, foliage, grass etc bit it does not affect the animals and doors not spoil the experience at all. You can buy a bag of feed for the animals and many of... More

Visited with a toddler and baby. I must say the animals looked hungry and in need of some TLC. Many of the pens were overgrown with weeds and nettles, some were empty or so overgrown you couldn't see. Some of the fences had been eaten by the animals and a rhea was wandering outside its fenced field. Needless to say... More

We spent the morning here, and that was enough. The overall feeling you are left with is " who, if anyone, is caring for these animals". The park is run down, over grown with nettles and weeds, and very much on its last legs. This is not the same park we remember from 5 years ago! The animals looked very... More

I decided to come to the local wildlife park to support a small business in my community instead of going down the road to the bigger wildlife park! What a mistake I made! Driving in you could see that it wasn't hugely professional. That was fine. I managed to get from the van to the admissions desk without any problems.... More

If only there were minus ratings this place would get minus 10. Would not visit again or recommend this place to any animal lovers. The staff were very un-welcoming and lacking in basic hospitality skills. The housekeeping was extremely poor. The welfare of the animals was a real concern to me and my family. Enclosures were unclean and shoddy. Some... More

We went with all the family, four adults and two children. The park was very tired and very overgrown, the animals looked healthy enough but some of the enclosures looked small and unkempt.. Our 3 year old boy loved it and didn't really notice the negative side.. On the positive side the picnic and play area was good and the... More

We went on a very sunny day to the park. The animals were well cared for and keen to greet us. We spent hours there - goats, ducks and raccoons were a great hit with us all. Staff friendly - don't miss a trip on the train ;)
