we went to the wildlife park a couple of days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, our 2 year old had a great time with all the animals, and the elderly man that others have mentioned was absolutely brilliant with us . . . just because someone is quietly spoken doesn't mean he's bad at he's job . . . will... Excellent wildlife park. Large enclosures, animals seem happy enough and are very friendly. £1 for a bag of food which can be used to feed the selection of ducks which is good fun and also the racoons which I loved. Cost is reasonable for the amount of time you will spend and how much you will enjoy visiting. Lemurs, marmosets... More

Really loved my visit today, especially feeding the geese, ducks and swans. They followed me constantly until I ran out of food! The barnacle geese were so friendly they let me stroke them. Some parts of the park could do with a clean up but apart from that it was a very enjoyable visit. The animals looked very healthy and... More

I went to this park earlier today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The lady in the hatchery was doing a good job of supervising hyper kids and answering questions at the same time. There's no doubt the park could look better. There were a few empty enclosures but why folk are moaning about weeds... More

Just been today, wild life park maybe not wild life. We took our 41/2 year old grandson for a visit. A little bit of TLC to the vista would not go a miss here. A little tatty at the edges, get round with the strimmer clear the grass from viewing areas. Goats are very entertaining and persistant as were the... More

Looking at some of the negative reviews, one can't help feeling that there's a conspiracy going on here. The cafe is good, the playground is good, the grass might need cutting but the animals seemed fine.

Having visited this park a number of times over the past few years,I am disgusted at how run down it has become. Is there no one maintaining it? I like to see animals being kept in a more natural environment, but this is just poorly kept. The animals look unhappy and dejected, and all look as though some TLC would not... More

But we had a blast. Staff were helpful and even went out of their way to bring a rabbit to meet my daughter. I work in animal welfare and can assure you that the animals are in good health with good environments. When we visited the only overgrown enclosures were empty. A great day out with a fab play area... More

After being to this park twice in previous years it was very upsetting to see these animals. They looked unhappy had no feed or water in pens and most of them were dirty horses needed a good groom. Having knowledge about African grays cokatoos and macaw birds as my mum would own and care for several of these birds I... More
