beautiful sands, lovely town, impressive. The town is so friendly, good cafes and restaurants, especially the basil harbour cafe and the old schoolhouse restaurant. If you have time visit Househill farm shop on the road to Grantown on Spey

I suggest that you wrap up warm if you visit in winter time - the wind can cut through you but the walk is refreshing!

Nairn beach is stunning. The beach goes on for miles. It is clean, and very safe. We enjoyed our evening walk after dinner each night. Very family friendly beach too!

Miles of varied safe beach, stretches of clean yellow sand, areas of rock pools, clean safe childrens' play area and clean kiddies paddling pool. Sailing harbour, patrolling Dolphins. Beach side cafes, pubs and restaurants, good parking, ready access for push chairs and wheelchairs . Interesting old Fishertown Whats not to like.

Plenty of free parking, some food and drink outlets, and a flat wide beach with proper sand. Some great views of the mountains and very popular with the locals.
