I can see Nairn beach from my bed, so i am very fortunate where I live, I never tire from going there and you can still have a nice quiet walk there without seeing many people, the water and beach is very clean and you have tramendous views.

This is the place that defines Nairn! The sea, the sand and the opportunities for long lovely walks seem endless. Dunes have breaks that lure one off the boardwalk onto the sand and along the water's edge. The water was too cold for me to swim but some hardy souls were out there - possibly in wetsuits. There were also... More

Spent a week in Nairn and visited the beach every day, even when it was raining and the foam was lying on the sand like lines of sponge. It is such a beautiful beach, sand golden and goes on for miles. Loved just chasing waves and walking along collecting shells. Looks like all the dogs of Nairn appreciate it too,... More

What a fantastic beach. Gorgeous sands. Good for bird watching, and spotting dolphins. Also, brilliant for building sandcastles.

An excellent stretch. Not swamped with tourists. Clear sands. Not commercialized. A nice promenade to walk as well. Stunning unspoiled views looking out to the see. Probably my favourite Scottish beach after St Andrews

This is a broad, clean and lonely beach - simply gorgeous to stroll along and to feel the wind in your face and hair.

Miles of white sands and dunes with lovely views across to The Black Isle. A choice of two beaches, one for dogs and one not. sometimes visitors can get lucky and see dolphins in the Moray Firth late afternoon, early evening feeding in the bay.
