love Nairn beach, visited numerous times over the years as both a child, and adult and with my own children. Really accessible, clean sand and water and lovely views

Lovely long safe beach, well two beaches in fact as there are east and west beaches in Nairn, both miles of golden sand, close to amenities.

The beach has beautiful, pristine sand and lovely rocks and grasses. Of course the water was much too cold for a dip--even in June. But I enjoyed the walk and the scenery. I was told this beach was a favorite of Charlie Chaplin.

Scotland is blessed with some of the finest beaches in Europe and Nairn beach must be amongst the best. Parking is easy to get to and right next to the beach. Even at peak period, you wouldn't call the beach busy and we have often had it to ourselves. Outstanding

Fairly quiet town centre. Traditional resort - hey day perhaps in the past. There are glorious views of the Highlands to the North and West. Beach wanderers and twitchers will love this place.

We walked east from Nairn for nearly 2 hours, staying on the sand, before turning back. There is also a proper path at the edge of the woods lining the route.

One of the best beaches I have visited. Well kept and seems to go on forever. Definitely worth a walk along the beach, even on a cold day.
