Just finished a 45 min walk with my wife at 8pm on an April evening, what a joy, People even say hi, how are you? The beach is so clean and tidy and busy. There is plenty of parking and you should try the little cafe for a coffee or ice cream, The best wee town in the Scotland

Approaching through Nairn you can either park at the Harbour end or by carrying on a little further near some hotels and a small park. Small tearoom and little development on seafront itself - buildings are set back. Quaint small harbour. Beach is of light fine sand with bands of pebbles and shells, shelves quite steeply in to sea at... More

I visit this beach almost weekly as it's only 15 miles from me. It's a lovely clean beach, a great day out with the kids and the dog. Seems to be very quiet through the week with mainly dog walkers. There is a tea room with reasonable prices which I noticed last week was open again and a childrens playpark... More

This beach has incredible views, a fantastic café near the play park (The Links Tea Room), parking at the harbour end or swimming pool end and the sand is beautiful. Well worth a visit.

This is one of, if not the, best beach in Scotland. With clean white sands stretching for miles, it is perfect for running, dog walking, or just meandering at a leisurely pace. There are rock pools; a promenade running parallel to the beach; and a beautiful view over to the Black Isle. On a sunny day, it is just heaven.
