This is a lovely clean beach, with fine white-golden sand that stretches for seemingly miles and beautiful views across the Moray Firth. There are three beaches, all with slightly different characters (eg one has rock pools when the tide is out), but East Beach is my favourite, with dunes and hardly anyone on it! Totally unspoilt, but within a short... More

One of the best beaches around. All wide open & unspoiled. It can get a bit windy at times, but that's part of it's attraction.

Beautiful, white, sandy, uncrowded. Nice little harbour nearby. Views toward Cromarty & beyond. Just lovely.

A wonderful walking beach with excellent views across the estuary. A promenade walk and children's playground.

You wouldn't really expect Scotland to offer anything in the way of beaches but this one is very good - apart from the ever-present wind which at least wasn't cold the day we were there. Mind you, gauging from some of the litter on the beach (we spotted on old rusty bike on the water line) a "clean up the... More

Great expanse of sand and great views of the moray firth. You can walk for miles and miles but look out for the tide coming in as it's fast and easy to get stranded

Two beautiful long sandy beaches, one on either side of the harbour. There's also a path running alongside the west beach - great for a walk to work off your meal at Sunny Brae.

We walked to the beach area in the late afternoon to early evening. I think the tide had recently gone out because there were massive amounts of different color shells and rocks to look at.
