A fantastic beautiful experience. Loch Ness is an unspoilt vast expanse of natural beauty, the scenery, in all weathers, is absolutely to die for. On the North side of the Loch is the main road to Fort William and Kyle of Lochalsh, both journeys are excellent with the road to Kyle taking you past the 5 Sisters of Kintail which... More

It has a beautiful, stunning, incredible landscape. If you go to Scotland, you have to visit Loch Ness at least once.

The journey from Edinburgh was amazing. The snowy landscape of the Highlands on a winter morning is remarkable. Loch Ness is spectacular! Its mystery atmosphere is unforgettable! There is a very good coffee + souvenir shop. Definitely a must see in Scotland!!!

Took my family up to Loch Ness for a visit and went to the Loch ness tourist center where we had a tour and video presentation all about Loch ness and the mystery surrounding it. Great place to visit and some beautiful scenery. Loch ness is well worth a day trip to go and see.

One of the most amazing trips I've ever made! We wanted to go to unveil the myth, and found an amazing tour through the highlands, facing sun, rain, snow, stormy weather, in short...all in one day! the place is magical, the views are awesome and the stories of monarchy and conquers just thrilling!

I took a boat cruise around Loch Ness as an optional add-on to my tour across the Highlands. I am so glad we had this opportunity. The lake was beautiful, and our boat ride coincided with sunset. (If you care about such things, the boat had a warm interior cabin and free wifi!) I have the most amazing photos from... More

We stayed about 20 miles from Loch Ness but drove along side it in several days and also took a boat trip on it during our holiday. We took our boat trip from Fort Augustus and it was approximately £10pp for an hours cruise. Reasonable value but you only cover a part of the Loch but given its size that's... More

I have lived on a hill overlooking Loch Ness for the last year. Very desolate - rather dull - and totally lacking in activities. Nothing ever happens on the water - no sailing, no regattas, no motor-boating - not even a marina. There may be reasons for this - winds, cold water, building regulations etc, but this all makes it... More

We entered via Inverness, stopped at Foyers Falls, then continued all the way to Fort Augustus, where we stayed at Morag's Lodge. The water was as still as glass and it didn't look very interesting in the rain. However, a couple of hours later the sun came out, we bought some fish and chips, and we went down to the... More
