Many people believe that this brooding lake in Northern Scotland, 21 square miles in size at an average depth of 800 feet, could certainly hide a large dinosaur-like "monster," the lake's long-time and elusive resident.

Excellent scenery, couldn't find Nessie though

Beautiful views and excellent cruise. People mostly search for Nessie.. The Urquhart Castle from the boat looks very nice.

Everybody heard about Loch Ness and its "monster". We went on a boat trip to Urquhart Castle which was quite informative but not very visually stunning (although Loch Ness is huge and deep). The castle itself was beautiful but that's another story.

The loch itself is spectacular! So beautiful! We went on a tour boat for an hour & we loved our captain James! He was extremely informative both about the history & of Nessie herself! Learned a lot! Would definitely go back! Did want to mention that we disliked our tour guides, Samantha & Scot of MacKenzie Adventures, aka The Jamie... More

On 19th May I joined a day small group tour with Rabbies to Loch Ness; we got not only beautiful highland scenery with the complete history but also extra entertaining by our excellent guide. Thanks to you "big" Aaron !

We took a trip around the whole loch ness. The west side was really crowded but the east side was really lovely.

Loch Ness is a must see location of immense beauty, which as a local we tend to take for granted as its on our door step. The loch has a vast amount of tourist attractions and locations that are well worth a visit, such as Urquhart Castle for fpectacular photos and visitors centre, Drumnadrochet for the visitors centre and places... After hearing so much about this lake and the folklore, I was disappointed when I actually saw it. This is a huge 23 mile long lake thats very deep with black waters. The boat ride was uneventful and did not reveal any remarkable scenery.

I love this place. Beautiful and majestic. I recommend Dores on the shores of Loch Ness for a lovely walk.

Perhaps due to the bad weather, views of scenery was average. Loch ness lake was not as fantastic as described (look rather like a typical lake).

Took a boat trip up Loch Ness in July 2014, well worth the money! Got off at the castle and walked around , fabulous for the kids. No sign of Nessie sadly 😞
