I really loved it, searching for Nessie (who never came to see me...) It's a nice and calm place. The only bad thing is that the souvenirs shop are really expensive. So I didn't have quite money this day to buy something.... (I went there in 2010, nnot 2014)

A beautiful part of Scotland. We looked long and hard for Nessie but didn't find her. Make sure you take a trip out on one of the Tour Boats to get the best information. Lots of places to stay and lovely food available.

This was a beautiful day out on the loch. The sun was shining and the sky was blue...it's the largest loch but not the prettiest but still worth the effort of seeing. I can't imagine anywhere in Scotland that isn't worth the time to investigate and make your own judgments about returning or not.

Beautiful and romantic sceneries all the way to Loch Ness. Rent a car from airport and drive all the way to Inverness. Definetely coming back again some day. A bit foggie but we managed to make good pictures to share.

We took a day trip over to Loch Ness from Inverness, mostly because of its fame. Unfortunately, it wasn't particularly impressive. Loch Ness is not the most beautiful loch in Scotland; it is simply the biggest in all respects (depth, etc.). We saw far more beautiful lochs from train windows as we travelled around Scotland. It was a very nice... More

My wife and I took a day tour from Glasgow to the above destinations, operated by Timberbush Company on September 17th, 2014. We read reviews about the boat cruise and decided against taking it.We primarily wanted to see the castle ruins on the bank of the Loch Ness. At the time of booking, neither the tour brochure nor the driver... More

We found loch ness on our first trip to the highlands(hardly surprising when you see how big it is) this loch is ENORMOUS. the mountains add to this and I quickly realised just how small I am when alongside this place.even though I dont believe in nessie,I ended up looking! Currents do make you think you've seen something. Scotland is... More
