A lovely display of memorabilia telling the story of the line. There was a very modest charge advertised but we were not charged on entry.

If you like old train information then the museum would be ok for you - there is food and drink to purchase

A welcome awaited us on a rather damp day. There is a shop and small museum with reasonable admission rates. It was very quaint and old fashioned.

Such a shame, could have been so much more. Kids were desperate to see trains but unfortunately what was there was beyond their understanding. Good for a rainy hour, but little else.

Absolutely nothing to see here, wasn't open and the man on the platform seemed to think I was speaking a foreign language when I asked about the location of the visitor centre

Despite notices clearly displayed, we did not find this museum open and there appeared to be no reason for this, so we were disappointed not to be able to look around

Liked the displays, photos and memorabilia, but disappointed by the overall attempt at a shop combined with a museum - a heavy emphasis on sales of commercial Scottish paraphernalia - needs professional advice - overall sense of amateurishness and a brave attempt - compares unfavourably to other similar railway "museum" venues with less favourable status as a line

Brilliant in the story of the railway coming to Kyle, currently in the process of completing the "oo"guage model of how the station would have looked, great for all the family to pass a spare 20 mins but will with a look
