my 90 year old Mum, my sister and I, did the Skye tour with Marshall on Tuesday. He was a brilliant driver, a fountain of knowledge about the island, and took great care of everyone on the bus. He made my Mum's 90 th birthday treat one that we will all remember and Mum will treasure her memories of the... More

I am NOT a fan of tours! However, as a dutiful husband, I went along with my wife's planning - - and it was a delight. Marshall is a local, and a crofter, and was able to answer both my wife's questions regarding culture and geographic features as well as mine regarding local economy, politics and agriculture - - all... The weather was atrocious but the tour was amazing. The driver/tour guide was from Skye and was a Crofter. He brought the island alive for us and it was so obvious that he loved and was so proud of the island. We saw despite the elements the rugged beauty of Kyle. for nearly five hours of top quality commentary. A... More

The driver was picking up passengers off the train from Inverness and asking others if they like to do the tour of Skye. I told him, as a backpacker, I'd rather shop around. He said he was the cheapest at £35. Not true. Turns out the tour from Skye backpackers in Kyleakin is $29 for a couple of hours longer.... More

We had the best guide in the trip Kevin and that made our trip so enriching. He made sure that we understood the importance of time so that we can cover all the places and return on time. He told us interesting stories and played nice Scottish music. Would recommend the tour to anyone visiting the island.

We started from Inverness, took the scenic 2.5 hour railway down to the Kyle of Localsh and booked the afternoon tour on arrival. Skye is really one of the last few unspoiled corners of the world, and the scenery we saw on the tour was really out of this world. We were reluctant to part with the place towards the... More

The day didn't get off to a good start - our guide was supposed to pick us up in Broadford at 11:15 but failed to do so. She arrived at 11:45 instead. Things improved after that. We headed north to Portree and stopped at some great places along the way, but places that weren't really off the beaten path. I... More

We used this company to meet car ferry at Armadale --take us to Kyle --bring us to train next day. Friendly well-informed driver even assisted with assembly of my mobility scooter that has to be separated to fit in trunk. Had bit of communication problem because we said Kyle and technically our hotel--wonderful Tingle Creek Inn--is at a hamlet, Erbusaig,... More

The isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited and my memories of the tour with Ewan my guide added greatly to my love for this place and Scotland. There is no man more genuine or fun as Ewan on the island or anywhere in the country! I would recommend this tour and this... More

My mum and I ended up having to go for a car tour alternative to the mini-bus as their regular driver wasn't available or something of the sort; but it ended up turning out for the best. We got a guide called Kevin; and by the end of the day, I had caught all the proud Scottish passion with which... More
