John was an amazing tour guide for our Isle of Skye tour! He had great stories and was able to take us to areas where the big coach buses can't go. The weather wasn't the best but John followed the clear skies for our adventures, nothing set in stone. Rabbies is also a green company. Every stop we made, John... More

Can't rate this highly enough! Marshall was just brilliant. A real live Skye Crofter, he has so much information to give, so many stories to tell, and so much love for his native Island. It was a joy to spend the day in his company - and the scenery is just out of this world!

We had an amazing time on the Rabbies 3 day Isle of Skye Explorer - having never been to Scotland, it was a great way to see the north for the first time. We had a great guide, Matthew, who was extremely knowledgable as well as helpful and sociable. We traveled in a comfortable 16 person van. I don't think... More

Good and bad. We hired Brian to pick us up after our 71 mile hike on the Glen Affric trail. We made it very clear to him that he had to pick up our luggage at the Glenelg Inn before he picked us up at a small Car Park several miles from Glenelg. He was 40 minutes late picking us... More

my 90 year old Mum, my sister and I, did the Skye tour with Marshall on Tuesday. He was a brilliant driver, a fountain of knowledge about the island, and took great care of everyone on the bus. He made my Mum's 90 th birthday treat one that we will all remember and Mum will treasure her memories of the... More

I am NOT a fan of tours! However, as a dutiful husband, I went along with my wife's planning - - and it was a delight. Marshall is a local, and a crofter, and was able to answer both my wife's questions regarding culture and geographic features as well as mine regarding local economy, politics and agriculture - - all... The weather was atrocious but the tour was amazing. The driver/tour guide was from Skye and was a Crofter. He brought the island alive for us and it was so obvious that he loved and was so proud of the island. We saw despite the elements the rugged beauty of Kyle. for nearly five hours of top quality commentary. A... More

The driver was picking up passengers off the train from Inverness and asking others if they like to do the tour of Skye. I told him, as a backpacker, I'd rather shop around. He said he was the cheapest at £35. Not true. Turns out the tour from Skye backpackers in Kyleakin is $29 for a couple of hours longer.... More

We had the best guide in the trip Kevin and that made our trip so enriching. He made sure that we understood the importance of time so that we can cover all the places and return on time. He told us interesting stories and played nice Scottish music. Would recommend the tour to anyone visiting the island.

We started from Inverness, took the scenic 2.5 hour railway down to the Kyle of Localsh and booked the afternoon tour on arrival. Skye is really one of the last few unspoiled corners of the world, and the scenery we saw on the tour was really out of this world. We were reluctant to part with the place towards the... More
