I am a big whiskey fan and like to check out all the distilleries I can get to but I must say I was disappointed with this distillery. The tour starts with a video presentation the we head off for the distillery tour which to my mind was rushed through. We moved on to the tasting where the shop had... More

If in Fort William or passing through, pop into the distillery. Here you will be shown a video before being given a guided tour before sampling a wee dram. Whiskies of varying cost can be purchased here.

We just arrived 2min after a bus with some elderly people arrived at the distillery, so the only guide was less willing to do anything except managing the people through the bathroom and giving us the hint, that he will close the visitor area for the tour of the bus. Well, we wanted to try some whiskeys and certainly were... More

visited with my partner met a slightly grumpy man on reception who told us last tour was at 1530hrs, we told him we had come for 1600hrs tour which we had asked another person about earlier. reluctantly he showed us into a little theatre where we saw a hilarious ittle AV presentation. we were then met by a charming middle... As my husband uses a wheelchair I emailed the distillery to see if we could visit for a tour . Good reply back.We met with john at the distillery and had a great welcome and watched a film and then was taken around the distillery and we were shown around all of the place. Great staff made us feel welcome.and... More

Turned up late in the day and was able to join onto a tour immediately. Our tour guide was John and he delivered a very good and thorough walk through talk through of the distilling process and the different areas of production. This was my first visit to a distillery in Scotland and this has certainly made me decide that... More

I have been here with a group of 8 friends while traveling around Scotland. We found this distillery in Fort Williams by the end of our trip on the way back to Glasgow. The staff was fine and opened a last visit session for us. It starts with a funny weird movie about the place and the history of the... More

I came to visit never having visited a distillery before - not expecting too much - it is only a fiver after all.How wrong was I! started with a hilarious but informative film. We were told we could photo and film and poli tely asked not to use our mobiles- nice touch. Followed by a great tour conducted by John... More

Having visited many Distilleries in Scotland i thought i would give this one a go. I wished I had done something else. Firstly you are took into a cinema room to watch a pathetic video of a giant and how he built Scotland and discovered Whisky, obviously all fairytail stuff....come on do the tourist a favour and tell the truth... Visited here with a group and I had expected that the 'tasting' at the end would be more than a tiny drop of one whisky considering that they had several different types on sale. The guide was pleasant enough and knew his stuff but he was a little full of himself and clearly couldn't wait until Scotland separated from the... More
