Distillery was not active (but that always during the siummer season...); our guide was certainly not an expert, lots of our questions were unanswered Tasting was not worth it, just one small drop of whisky, no comarison between two or mare tastes or ages Not even an explanation about the different kinds of whisky thet have on sale...

I been to a couple of distillery this tour was not interesting at all as the guy didn't put an effort in to make interesting for people. I know it was the silent season but this doesn't mean you have to put on a poor tour. Even at the end when you taste the whisky he just told what we... More

We visited in what they call the silent season. This is when maintenance is carried out, so you don't get the full tour, however there is no reduction in the fee that they charge. You do get one taste at the end but would hardly fill a thimble. Would be better if you could sample a few so you could... More

Very reasonably priced distillery tour. The opening video is dated but amusing nonetheless. The distillery is a bit rough around the edges compared to some others but this is part of the charm. The tasting was just of the blended whiskey so it is hard to comment on the single malt quality.

A great educational tour by JOHN even if you don't drink whiskey it was worth the small fee. I had no idea what all went into making Scottish Whiskey. John has a lot of jokes and is so very knowledgeable with brilliant customer service. . Thank you John.

from the outset when we were told before we bought tickets there would be no production because of the Silent seas, we were impressed by this place. Polite and friendly in the extreme the staff went out of their way to help us.. Our tour was conducted by an older guy who has the driest humour! He went into every... More

Not expensive at all so the tour goes quickly. Decent experience if you are in Fort Williams. A small distillery with friendly staff.

We went during the silent season and were told this from the beginning. It was a good tour, and wasn't boring at all. Great tour guide, and it was very cool to see the inner workings of the distillery. Tasting at the end was fun, and overall it was great way to spend about 45 minutes if you're in Fort... More

Friendly tour guide- had a good chat with us and had a few laughs. Opened my eyes to the world of whisky and have bought my first few bottles since my visit.
