This is a very welcoming pub, always pop in for a pint or two when in Inverness, there always seems to be a good atmosphere whether its in the afternoon or when it fills up in the evening.

Visited with my husband for a couple of late afternoon drinks. Bar maid was very nice and attentive and drinks were well priced. Toilets need work as does temperature of the place. What I feel let it down was the YES campaign propaganda plastered all over the place, a little too much for us.

Good beer, but my poor wife bitten by a million flying insects.... And I agree with last reviewer the staff need to just connect a touch with who pays their wages.

Just popped into the pub for a spot of lunch after a long journey from Edinburgh. Tables were sticky and the toilets were dirty. Tried to make small talk but the staff were not interested. When I left, shouted out "thank you" and the bar lady just stared. Felt very unwelcome. Will not visit again.

This is a great venue, the live music is superb and if your lucky enough to be here when' the band schiallion are playing, your in for a special treat. Haven't tried the food so can't comment. I'd say get here early and grab a table by the dance floor, you will have a great night .

Came Saturday night to hear live music and was not disappointed. Many draft beers to choose from. Didn't eat here, just drank. Asked locals about the upcoming referendum and got an earful, deepened my cross-cultural experience. And this is why we travel. This pub is right on Bridge St. just steps away from the river and you can't get more... More

Fantastic place to hear live music and get good service at the bar while in town in Inverness. It's centrally located, close to the river, and it's open late. Best of all, there is live music with traditional tunes - even on a Monday night! I was pleased that Strongbow was on tap and I really enjoyed myself. I would... More

This is my favourite pub in inverness, not only is it very friendly, it always had good techdar music on the go! Atmosphere is great especially when there are sports on. Drink is competitively priced. Staff are friendly. It's fairly small but i think that adds to the atmosphere!
