Been in here a number of times for a drink. Its alright but not got a lot of character. Wouldn't recommend it to tourists however a plus point is drinks are fairly cheap. Would recommend nearbye Hootnannys instead if you are in the area.

I have been brought up in inverness and have a fluent Scottish accent, but having brown skin seems to be a problem in this establishment. I have never in my life felt so unwelcome in a pub. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with dirty and unwelcoming looks- mostly by the customers who were clearly... More

A midweek visit on a short break in Inverness and a great wee pub. The only pub in Inverness with any atmosphere I had encountered. A plain wee establishment with a welcoming staff and clientele. The oldest pub in the town apparently - 1841 - so must be doin somethin right.

First stop on our night out this weekend. Highly recommended by locals we spoke to. We were not disappointed! Great music, friendly people and cheap drinks! Will be going back again.

I love this little pub. Coming from the west coast it's a great wee reminder of back home. A pub you can go into and have s chat with a stranger without being thought at as "weird". The drink is priced as you'd nornally find in most places. Music is great. Always busy. Advise it to anyone!

This is a very welcoming pub, always pop in for a pint or two when in Inverness, there always seems to be a good atmosphere whether its in the afternoon or when it fills up in the evening.

Visited with my husband for a couple of late afternoon drinks. Bar maid was very nice and attentive and drinks were well priced. Toilets need work as does temperature of the place. What I feel let it down was the YES campaign propaganda plastered all over the place, a little too much for us.
