I went there in June and noticed they had guided tastings in the evening around 7pm (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). For 20 pounds, I had some of the most fantastic and rare whisky's I've ever tried, with a nice introduction to the different regions. We were only 3 people at the tasting, so it was quite personal.

This place feeds on tourist Money, with tourist prices to boot (most whiskies are 10-30 prices above their RRP). If Inverness in your only stop go wild, otherwise avoid like the plague. More or less any specialist shop in Edinburgh or Glasgow (including the duty free) will blow this out the water.

This whiskey shop is fantastic if you are looking for something in particular, from Liquor sweets, fudge, and some small souvenirs, inc whiskey sets. The shop does charge more than your usual tesco, asda, or maybe morrisons. But there is more on offer here. You can try some of the whiskey in the casks. It's in the heart of Inverness... More

I'd been left by my tour bus so was trying to find my way to the bus station when I went in to ask directions. The pretty blond lady not only went out front to give me directions but checked to make sure I had enough of the correct currency. then she gave me an extra # just to be... More

We popped in here on a recent trip after my wife offered to treat me to a new bottle of Whisky. I was impressed by everything to do with this shop from the warm welcome, the fantastic range and the knowledgable and helpful staff. Whilst I didn't get a malt as planned, we were introduced to some great future purchases... More

Can't believe I'm writing a review of a whisky shop -- after all, you don't exactly come to Inverness for whisky, and probably not to shop. That being said, the shop on Bridge Street was full of very helpful and unbelievably knowledgable folk who spent easily two hours with my wife and me talking about the different kinds of whiskeys,...
