It is also the home of the Inverness Whisky Festival, BrewDog's Brew at the Bog and the Northern Roots Festival. Please note, as of 2011, the farm has been under new management and no longer has a restaurant, pottery studio, children's outdoor activities, farm shop or insect animal sanctuary. We now focus on putting on fantastic barn events! Bogbain is based only 3 miles south of Inverness on the A9. It’s convenient location means access is easy from anywhere in the country, but it also has oodles of Highland charm, and stunning views across the Moray Firth. The venue can cater for 120 guests for a meal and up to 250 for the evening dance. We also have ample space for a marquee outside.Unique features include a saloon bar, a cocktail bar, red-stone cobbled flooring, a Desperate Dan pie stove, full disabled access and toilet facilities, original stone walls and timber beams, vintage farm machinery and lots of space to have a great time !We are fully licensed for religious and civil ceremonies. « less

We had a Brilliant day at Bogbain Farm on the occasion of ours son's wedding and were looked after by the Bogbain Team superbly. The location is fabulous and was enjoyed by all guests and the setting for some brilliant photographs. Great location for any type of get together or private function.

We had our wedding reception at Bogbain on Friday 16th August 2013 and it was the most amazing day, I know everyone says that about their own Wedding Day but geniunely Bogbain made our day so special and relaxing - just like we had wanted. Nothing was a hassle to them, they helped us with our every want and need... More

We went to our niece's wedding at Bogbain Farm at the end of August. We'd been there once before for folk music so thought we knew what to expect. It far exceeded our expectations! The wedding itself was in the barn, with guests seated on covered straw bales. The drinks were served in jamjars tied with ribbons for the Pimms,... More

We had our wedding at Bogbain 24th August 2013 and it was fantastic! The team there are all really easy going, approachable and very accommodating and keen to try new things or to help with ideas. There is a huge amount of leeway as to what you can do with it but the underlying layout of the buildings and facilities... More

We recently went to Bogbain for the Brew At The Bog festival. The venue was great, really unusual. It would be perfect for a wedding :).

Yvonne(Bogbain's Wedding Consultant) was fantastic, and was hands on throughout!\We all worked together to decorate the already stunning venue.(Beach themed-sand/seashells/tealights+++ shell fairy lights etc...)So the night arrived-stormy and... I visited Bogbain as part of a business trip looking at possible venues for events. Bogbain has everything. Knowledgeable staff including an excellent musician who plays with Blazing Fiddles. A variety of atmospheric rooms to suit different events from weddings to musical evenings and dancing. They can also do outdoor events for corporate days with food and refreshments. Smewhere a... Attended a birthday party here, would not recommend cold venue, lethal cobbles within bar leading to dance area flat lemonade from a bottle warm wine woman behind bar was rude not a good experience and would not go again shame really as it could be good and even better if they ran a bus to it a taxi cost us... A bit of a miss mash, this one. More hit than miss I am afraid. No cafe or restaurant to give you even a modest coffee and bacon roll, in addition Sunday roasts are sadly no longer available. Typical of a lot of Scottish tourist "attractions" in its amateur hobbyist approach, which promises a lot but fails to deliver in... More
