Description: Bogbain Farm is a private hire venue suitable for weddings, parties and...
Bogbain Farm is a private hire venue suitable for weddings, parties and other events! It is also the home of the Inverness Whisky Festival, BrewDog's Brew at the Bog and the Northern Roots Festival. Please note, as of 2011, the farm has been under new management and no longer has a restaurant, pottery studio, children's outdoor activities, farm shop or insect animal sanctuary. We now focus on putting on fantastic barn events! Bogbain is based only 3 miles south of Inverness on the A9. It’s convenient location means access is easy from anywhere in the country, but it also has oodles of Highland charm, and stunning views across the Moray Firth. The venue can cater for 120 guests for a meal and up to 250 for the evening dance. We also have ample space for a marquee outside.Unique features include a saloon bar, a cocktail bar, red-stone cobbled flooring, a Desperate Dan pie stove, full disabled access and toilet facilities, original stone walls and timber beams, vintage farm machinery and lots of space to have a great time !We are fully licensed for religious and civil ceremonies.

Excellent wedding venue

Attended a family wedding at Bogbain Farm - excellent venue and very well organized. Food was excellent. Venue is a little unusual, but perfect for the big day!

I have been here both as a customer and then later as staff. The whole place is brilliant with polite funny staff and facilities provided for eeveryone. I found the instrudtors aimed at every level so everyone could join in. Drink is cheap and the venue is fantastic.

Great place! We had an evening of music, dancing and dinner here. The staff were fantastic. Food - a hog roast - was delicious! The live music was fab, we were taught some traditional dance and we all had a great time. Well recommend!

Had a brilliant night at Bogbain farm for hogmanay 2014/15 with friends and family. On the night I was overall impressed with the venue and would consider going again next year. However, in hindsight, I feel that the £300 my group paid for the table of 10 was of poor value. We were expecting champagne and nibbles on the tables,... More

Excellent to be at a Wedding at this venue couple o weeks back. The Friday night we had a pre wedding party and it was amazing. Bar Staff Nichola & Benj were fantastic. Great banter with a great selection of ales and even told nicely when I'd had enough beer! Cant wait til the next ane.

As soon as we visited Bogbain Farm, we knew it was the venue for our wedding. There was a perfect intimate and special atmosphere created with fairy lights and hay bales. Communication via email with Yvonne and then Ellis was outstanding on the run up to the wedding especially with all my annoying wee questions. The venue and staff were... More

Lovely day which made the venue look great. Not sure it would be that comfortable in the wet! Very interesting use of the Barn and fun place for a wedding. The cobbles as you go in are lethal for ladies in high heels - might need to advise people to wear platform or flat shoes or accidents might happen.

It was ok, the dance area is big enough to fit 100 people with just the hay to sit on instead of chairs. =D x
