This place is a gem. A rather famous one in Inverness though. The live music starts at 21.30 and its different every night. Go for drinks or go for dinner- we did both, and had the best fish'n chips on our trip, and a solid and tasty meat pie.

This was one of our favorite places in Scotland. We went two nights, and the music was just amazing! It can certainly get crowded--we never sat down--but it is a friendly, lively place. No cover charge, which would be hard to find in the U.S. One night, there were crowds dancing in the tiny space in front of the band.... More

this pub is great for many reasons: outstanding free live music (musicians were playing at the table next to ours, drinking beer and laughing with the audience), nice and cozy atmosphere, and an impressive selection of beers, including a really tasty and refreshing local lager. Really enjoyed!

Stopped by on a Thursday night (recommended by Rick Steves) and we had so much fun listening to Scottish music! The place was full of locals and the audience even performed a traditional dance. So much fun! Highly recommended!

This is a restaurant as well, we did not eat here. The bar tenders were real nice and kept the beer flowing. They had some scottish music.

My wife and I went here as part of our Scotland honeymoon in 2013. The place was PACKED when we went but that's okay. I'm fine with crowded bars/pubs as long as there is a convivial vibe. I got a pint of either a stout or porter from Black Isle Brewery, a good local beer. The live music that night... More

A perfect option for a night out in Inverness for any day of the week - they have live music every day, not only on weekends (when other pubs in the area sometimes look empty and sad at night). Perfect location in the town center, local beers and traditional music - everything you need for a good night. Please be... More

Absolutely loved this pub, both for the great food and amazing music. We first visited this pub for drinks after reading other user reviews on trip advisor. The live Scottish music was very good and the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming. It was a little bit short on space to sit, but that's reflective of how busy and popular it... More

Our friend in Inverness advised this pub to us. It is right in the centre of Inverness. It has live music, very nice bands. You can try some beer before giving the order. They sell local honey beer. The place is popular, so you can wait some time before you get a table, but it has nice relaxed atmosphere, it... More
