Stopped by on a Thursday night (recommended by Rick Steves) and we had so much fun listening to Scottish music! The place was full of locals and the audience even performed a traditional dance. So much fun! Highly recommended!

This is a restaurant as well, we did not eat here. The bar tenders were real nice and kept the beer flowing. They had some scottish music.

My wife and I went here as part of our Scotland honeymoon in 2013. The place was PACKED when we went but that's okay. I'm fine with crowded bars/pubs as long as there is a convivial vibe. I got a pint of either a stout or porter from Black Isle Brewery, a good local beer. The live music that night... More

A perfect option for a night out in Inverness for any day of the week - they have live music every day, not only on weekends (when other pubs in the area sometimes look empty and sad at night). Perfect location in the town center, local beers and traditional music - everything you need for a good night. Please be... More

Absolutely loved this pub, both for the great food and amazing music. We first visited this pub for drinks after reading other user reviews on trip advisor. The live Scottish music was very good and the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming. It was a little bit short on space to sit, but that's reflective of how busy and popular it... More

Our friend in Inverness advised this pub to us. It is right in the centre of Inverness. It has live music, very nice bands. You can try some beer before giving the order. They sell local honey beer. The place is popular, so you can wait some time before you get a table, but it has nice relaxed atmosphere, it... More

I used to be a regular user of both Hootannany and Mad Hatter's upstairs from 2006-2013 but only pop in on occasion now. What used to be the best place for live music of a rock/metal nature is no longer quite the place it used to be, although it is comfortably better than 90% of the rest of the pubs... More

The food was also amazing we had the venison meatballs and belly of pork just outstanding. The live music added greatly to the awsum atmosphere. We had a great... More

Awesome experience, happening Saturday night with drums and beats and group and couple dancing to Scottish music. We being on holiday, enjoyed our time there dancing and drinking. Thumbs up

Great destination spot for anyone looking for live music in the evenings as they have three stages. My favorite evening was on a Wednesday night-- Ceilidh jam session with all the traditional instruments!
