Such a warm, lively place. Three levels each with a different vibe. Great live music from local and visiting bands. Downstairs usually traditional, middle level can be anything, upstairs is the chilled area where they sometimes have an acoustic musician. Every time I go there we end up getting strangers up for a ceilidh!

You can listen nice live music. Beer is nice and you can also eat. I recommend this bar for all the tourists. I had a great night with friends there.

The bar was pretty packed when we went on the weekend, though the band was great and everyone was clearly having a wonderful time!

I went there every night while I was in Inverness and stayed til the pub closes; loved the atmosphere and of course the music! The bands played from a table in the centre and it felt very relaxed. The music was very good, something I'd paid good money for!

If you like live music while having a drink: go to that place! Every night there is live music. The atmosphere is warm and the service good. If you're hungry the food is nice as well (I had haggis ^^). If you are in Inverness you have to go to Hootananny one evening.

Went in with a friend on a Friday night. The place was packed, a couple of guys on guitars entertained, it was great. The had some great local beer on tap, this is my idea of the quintessential Scottish pub environment.

Great pub, great food! I ordered the Haggis (I was the only person to brave it...and I was the only non-Scot in the group!). It was WONDERFUL. I recommend it highly. Service very friendly and helpful. (His response when I ordered the Haggis? "Well ALL RIGHT!")

We went their on a Tuesday night and they had a Scottish trad session going strong when we got there. Now as anyone will tell you us Irish love a good session of music and I have to say this was good. when the locals finished we had a bit of a sing song and nobody seem to mind. nice... More
