Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here. « less

A coach ride with local informative guide - Sue - then a half hour boat ride in search of Nessie and enjoying the amazing views of this incredible expanse of water, a visit to Urquhart Castle with its historical information, ruined ramparts and great visitors' centre and restaurant. I did not have time to eat there was so much more... More

Did the short 1 hour cruise on Loch Ness and thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking at the Clansman Hotel is not ideal as there are not enough spaces at times but go early and wait about for a space. Small underpass to harbour. The commentary on board could have been a bit louder if you are on top deck with lots... More

My wife and I took the 'Freedom' cruise from the Clansman Hotel near Drumnadrochit. This is a one hour cruise (30 minutes each way) and 1 hour (admission included) to Urqhart Castle and costs £20.50 (adult) - you can miss the castle stop off and do the cruise for £13.50 but approaching the castle from the water is highly recommended... We took the 6.5 hour Passion trip. Very informative and interesting bus trip to start to the cairns. Excellent tour guide/driver. Loch Ness Experience better than expected. Good amount of time at Castle Urquhart, nice ending with the boat trip on the loch and canal. Based on some other reviews, I was expecting things to be more crowded and impersonal.... More

I booked ahead for a 2 hour cruise and was advised later that the time and embarkation point had changed slightly. I was happy to agree with these minor changes and was immediately awarded (without me asking) a complete refund so that my party of nine travelled for free. The cruise and the boat were excellent so I have no... More

I did the tour that starts with the bus in Inverness. The bus takes you to the Place where the boat takes off. The busdriver was telling us a bit about the history and everything, but he had quite a strong accent, so it was quite hard to understand for a foreigner. After the half-hour boattrip on Loch Ness we... More

A really excellent and enjoyable trip cruising down Loch Ness which I cannot recommend enough if you are in the area. It is very interesting and informative and the scenery is simply stunning. I especially liked the fact that I could bring my dog on the trip. The two crew members were extremely helpful and friendly. A member of our... More

Been promising to do this for years the trip from Inverness to Loch Ness is superb booking online simple safe and all the facilities on board we're clean and well looked after. Weather on our trip was fantastic but even in poor weather there's enough undercover facilities and the sonar to keep you entertained. Would thoroughly recommend

I love this boat trip - we have been on it the last 3 times we have been to Inverness and something different to see everytime depending on the time of year - good value for money and a lovely way to spend a whole afternoon. We opted for the boat trip to and from the castle as we have... More

Loved the beauty of the area. Boat ride was smooth. Awe inspiring as you near the ruins of Urquhart. Amazing history. The walk up to the bus could be strenuous for some.
