Water doesn't get much more mysterious than this 23 mile stretch running through the Great Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. There's no better way to experience Loch Ness than by boat. Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here.

The ship was great and Urquhart Castle was a lot of fun. The Jacobite cruise staff are very friendly and willing to help with whatever is needed. I don't think there is really a need to cruise for longer than the 30 minutes to the castle and 30 minutes back. We did the 2 hour (1hr on water and 1hr... More

We took the two hour cruise on a rather blustery day and it was great. The boat is comfortable and the staff very nice. We had a wonderful day! Sonar didn't locate Nessie, but we really enjoyed ourselves!

Having been welcomed at their information desk at Inverness Bus Station we chose to take the full day excursion called "Passion". What an excellent choice. We were greeted by Sue, the coach driver who then took us down the north side of the loch to visit the Corrimony Cairns, then the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre and then delivered us to... More

This was a great combination of sites to visit and vistas to enjoy. We learned so much from the guides and the museum and castle presentations. There was great transportation, just enough walking and amazing Scottish scenery. Everything was very well-organized and the pick up and drop off was very easy to find. An excellent way to spend a day... More

We pre-booked tickets for the cruise on the website which was pretty straightforward. We chose the tour that was two hours - an hour a the boat and an hour at Urquhart Castle. The trip across was pretty standard - we were a little disappointed that there wasn't more information about Loch Ness. We sat on the top deck going... More

My wife and I enoyed the cruise down Loch Ness and the castle tour, but what made the cruise was Allison. She was informative about the culture and history of Scotland and made the whole experience wonderful. We had a disabled man on the tour and she got him a scooter to help him get around. She also took them... More

Absolutely thrilled to hear that Alison treated you well, she is an incredibly informative and entertaining guide and we are well aware of how fortunate we are to have her working for us and so will show her this review. We don't show her all the ones with her name in it, we fear she may realise how good she... More

We chose the 3hr reflection cruise for £23. The two hour cruise for £20 is exactly the same but as we were staying in Inverness the extra hour along the Caledonian Canal for £3 was worth it. At the beginning of the cruise everyone was on the top deck but once out on the Loch many move inside for two... More

We went on the 1 hour trip down to Urquhart Castle and back. It was very enjoyable and relaxing and the boat is very comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and going along the canal breathtaking and then out in loch ness makes a nice contrast to the journey. Well worth doing as part of a sight seeing holiday. Good value... This was a great trip. We did the 2 hour trip which included an hour on the boat and an hour at Urquhart Castle. It was really easy to book online, and the people were very helpful. Urquhart Castle was awesome!

Delighted to learn that you enjoyed your time with us on the Freedom tour, a great way to combine a cruise with a visit to Urquhart Castle. The views from the unique perspective of the boat allow you to appreciate how big the Castle was before it was blown up and destroyed and we like to think disembarking at the... More
