Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here. « less

Four adult family members on a one hour round trip starting at 2pm from Clansman Hotel Harbour to Urquhart Castle. The modern and clean boat was packed with coach parties on the way to the Castle with many people opting to go on the upper deck, which had limited seating and made it difficult to hear audible announcements. The journey... More

We took the 2 hour cruise and urquhart castle trip for my husbands birthday. Quite expensive for the trip, but overall a super relaxing experience. The cruise was very informative about the loch and really family friendly. The castle was wonderful and definately a worth the stop off en route.

Fantastic way to see the Loch and its castle, very relaxing and lots to see, apart from a monster. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the running commentary is very informative. The only down side is food and drink in quite expensive.

We took the 2.5 hour coach and cruise option. The coach was clean and modern, the driver/guide very charming and witty, the drive along the River Ness, Caledonian Canal, and banks of the Loch is wonderfully picturesque. However, the highlight is the cruise itself, the loch is so beautiful: peaceful, mysterious, majestic. The hour at Urquhart Castle is great, but... More

We did the Sensation Tour, which is a 3.5hr tour via coach & cruise of Loch Ness, explore Urqhart Castle & Visitor Centre & visit the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition. Our pickup point was less than a 5min walk from our hotel the ticket staff were extremely friendly, our coach arrived & our driver/guide was very friendly & welcoming &... More

We took the 3 hour Jacobite cruise of the Caledonian Canal & Loch Ness. There was an excellent commentary on the sights to be seen and the crew were helpful and friendly. Refreshments are available on board and are reasonably priced. This cruise is recommended for anyone visiting Inverness and who wants to see more than just the town.

I would thoroughly recommend Jacobite Cruises, Loch Ness. On the afternoon of our cruise we had beautiful weather which addded to our enjoyment but the staff, from ticket office to crew, were attentive and friendly. Even having mislaid my prepaid printed ticket there was no problem as the company already had my name when I booked online. To cruise along... More

We took the Passion tour which is a day tour. It was really nice. We had enough time to see everything with having to rush! The guide was very friendly and helpful. We were picked up by bus at the bus station in Inverness. Then we saw an old stone circle. After taht we had more than 1 hour in... More

I went on the passions tour with Jacobite tours. This was a full day from Inverness to Urqhart Castle, Loch Ness Experience, Carrimony Cairn and Loch Ness. My driver Sandy was such a nice person. He made an effort to speak to everyone on the bus (five people) and had some really useful information about the surrounding area. The tour... More

We booked the 3hr tour and could understand why it took the hours, it took an age to get off the canal, and on to the actual Loch. After an hour or so the kids had lost interest, but we enjoyed the views and the odd interesting fact via the tannoy about the Loch and its surroundings. The staff were... More

Thank you for your positive review, the 3 hour cruise is an enjoyable and relaxing experience for adults, but understandably it can be a bit too long for kids. Kind Regards The Jacobite Team More
