Water doesn't get much more mysterious than this 23 mile stretch running through the Great Glen in the Highlands of Scotland. There's no better way to experience Loch Ness than by boat. Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here.

Although sunny, we visited on a very cold day. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We started off outside but then very pleased to have the choice of indoors! Our two year old absolutely loved the trip and the adults enjoyed the snippets of history played over the sound system. The two men in our party were fascinated by screens... More

What a fantastic way to see Loch Ness and the Castle! We did the Freedom tour from the Clansman, and it could not have been better. The boat was really excellent, and all the staff very pleasant. Huge shout out to Linda who was just lovely, and kept us right with our timings for the tour we were on. I've... More

Did the Sensation tour of Loch Ness, and it was informative, and fun. The tour guide was very good and it was nice to have both a lake cruise as well as touring Urquhart Castle ruin and visitor center and the Loch Ness center. Scenery is awesome.

We booked the Inspiration tour for the 2 of us and we really enjoyed it! The tour lasted an hour and a tape played, which told us some interesting facts about the Loch in between Scottish music. The boat was decorated very nicely, very clean, with great facilities and the staff were extremely friendly! We were very lucky and ended... More

Saw a leaflet for Jacobite on drive up from Edinburgh and thought, why not. So glad we did! Incredible scenery, informative commentary, really friendly staff and the boat had excellent facilities. Great value for money and would definitely come again and use Jacobite

I went to Jacobite cruises as a guide of 29 people who went to see Loch Ness for the first time (it was also my first time at Loch Ness). It was also my first experience as a guide. The staff were all interested in ensuring everybody was enjoying their visit. I would like to give a particular shout out... More

While I did enjoy the package I had which was the boat ride and Urquhart castle docking, I found that I needed more time than the time they allowed. I am the kind of person that likes to enjoy all the stops and I felt very rushed.

Very warm and welcoming greeting when you arrive. We ended up on the newest boat which is very modern with refreshments and free wifi, and a great view of Loch Ness. There is a great narration which gives you lots of information and stories about the history of Loch Ness as you cruise the Loch. The only disappointment is that.... More

My husband and I decided to spend the morning exploring Inverness, and after some research of local cruises, we saw that Jacobite came highly recommended. Well we weren't disappointed! We paid approx £20 for a 1 hour cruise, plus 1 hour visit to Urquhart Castle - very reasonable price. It was a rather miserable day - cold and very wet,... More
