Jacobite's award winning tours and cruises get you onto the water and into the heart of this iconic landscape. This is a whole lot more than simply sight-seeing. We've been running trips on and around Loch Ness for over 30 years and most of us live here. « less

We were holidaying in the area and booked the boat trip on the spur of the moment. We were able to take our two dogs aboard and we found it very enjoyable and relaxing. The weather was fantastic which definitely helped. The music being played was good but could have been louder, maybe not everyone would agree with that.

Took this cruise along the Caledonian Canal to Urquhart Castle. An interesting commentary was given as the boat went along the canal and Loch. I didn't see the Monster but can understand how people can be fooled into thinking they have seen it by looking at the wash created by other boats on the Loch.

Just a cruise with nothing special..Half an hour to go up to a point of the lake and half an hour to come back.. Nothing special/new to learn for the lake. Paying 12,5 GBP for that, makes me feel bad!

We travelled to Inverness by rail as we didn't want to rent a car for our trip, so the Jacobite Cruises seemed the perfect way to see Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. The Sensation trip (3.5 hours) is made up of a combination of a Bus Tour, Boat Tour, 1 hour at the castle, and a further bus tour with... More

Took kids on cruise whilst on holiday in Scotland... One word... Brilliant!!! Will be going again next year when back in Scotland. The kids enjoyed it as much as we did and excellent value for money. Was a nice day too so was a clear view from all angles of the boat. Can enjoy a beverage whilst out on the... More

Found this a relaxing cruise. It was great to just sit and be able to see the beautiful scenery without worrying about the traffic. Commentary was also good. We enjoyed the ruins of Urquhart castle and the guide was excellent. His job seemed more like his hobby.

we chose a 3 hours trip: boat cruise, Urquhart castle and bus drive back to Inverness. -the boat trip was excellent, provided interesting information (loudspeaker is on only few times) -the castle was too truistic and therefore very sterile thanks to the amount of tour services and cruises -special thanks to the lady who drove the group home on the... If you are going to do this tour, it is highly recommended. However, do the first one of the day as the others become full. We caught the first one to Urquhart Castle and were flabbergasted by the numbers of people disembarking on the following tour as we waited to return. Go early is the key. Well worth the cost... More

This a must see for anyone visiting Inverness. Loch Ness looks even more beautiful from on the water. Urquart Castle is also a very enjoyable expedience so I would recommend the set tour for anyone who hasn't been there yet.
