Great tour, fun and entertaining. Cameron did an amazing job wearing a kilt and told us interesting stories about murderers, criminals etc. He could even handle two drunk Polish girls easily so that the tour was still fun.

Got an electric bike for the day and went for miles on. Map supplied, and Cameron was Mr Happy personified. If you want a bike to see the sites look for the man in the kilt at the bottom of the steps.

Did the Crime and Punishment tour this evening and it was fab. Cameron was a real character with a great knowledge on the goings on in old inverness. All the stories he told us were factual as well as being fun and entertaining, I work as a tour guide, so am in Inverness with tours often. I'll definitely be recommending... More

We went on 2 tours (pre-booked- would not have done the second one otherwise) -the evening Crime and Punishment tour and the day walking tour of Inverness. I am used to the excellent blue badge tour guides and sadly he was not up to this standard. It was quite interesting on the walks but not a lot of crime and... More

Cameron is a real character! Went on his Inverness guided walk and wished I'd had the time to also fit in his Crime and Punishment walk. Some of the things he told us were also mentioned on the City Sightseeing bus - so they must be true (But I'm not sure of the bit about Nessie being seen in the... More

I took a one-hour walking tour with Cameron this morning. He knew his stuff and delivered it all in a friendly, light-hearted way. You will see the main sights, hear some good stories and learn that Nessie is absolutely not a myth! Definitely worth an hour of your time if you're in the city.

I took the Crime and Punishment walking tour in the evening. While the focus was on some interesting cases, such as the last person publicly hung and boys imprisoned for throwing snow balls, the focus was on Inverness history and culture. The guide was quite entertaining and willing to answer questions. It was a good after dinner walk and a... More

The guide was excellent and we were lucky to receive a private tour for two. Sightseeing and historical facts were interesting and the guide was funny. The tour was so good that the only reason for four "stars" was that we hoped it could have lasted longer.

Tour information was fine, side commentary was not. Was not thrilled with hearing US Government bashing - my home country.

No need to add to all the good reviews Cameron has received for his excellent walking tour but if you have a bit more time, consider hiring one of his bikes and going for a ride - for example along the Caledonian Canal. It makes for a great afternoon and you can see a lot more of this lovely city... More
